I'm watching ep3 of Yuri on Ice again and wow, Viktor having Yuuri skate Eros really is so fucking wild to me. On the one hand: reasonable choice. Viktor wants Yuuri to surprise the audience. He knows Yuuri can perform like this (cough banquet cough) and he knows that Yuuri capitalizing on this potential could win him the season.

On the other hand: oh my God. Does Viktor want to torture himself.

Listen: Yurio says Viktor was contemplating choreographies for himself during the past season. So, Viktor's been thinking about Love as a theme for himself. Man is 27. Everyone's asking him if / when he'll retire. He's considering his future. He's been thinking about love. He's considering his future he's been thinking about love He takes a season off, flies to Japan -- for Yuuri--,, he has Yuuri (who ran away from Viktor's flirting in ep2!) skate Erotic love. (aka the emotion he didn't return to Viktor during Viktor's first days in Japan ((aka an emotion that Viktor's been thinking about for a while (((aka an emotion Viktor believes Yuuri can pull off (because he's SEEN Yuuri pull it off (((at the FUCKING BANQUET where he flirted on Viktor THEN DISAPPEARED))))).

TL;DR this Russian knows how to pine.

Why and how are there still people out there hating on Yuri on Ice for being “gross fujoshi pandering”. You know, the series can simply not be your thing, you don’t have to distort the facts and try to make it into something it’s not to feel morally superior in your dislike.

I just had the crazy thought that ‘See you NEXT Level’ also refers to Victuuri’s next relationship level. A girl can hope....

From this post of mine, I decide to make a long one. You can correct me if I’m wrong. 

Okay, so Viktor thought Yuuri was “the playboy” and he was “the woman” because Yuuri never gave him any signs after the banquet. And Yuuri thought Viktor was “the playboy” because Viktor showed up to his house out of the blue and gave the Eros program to him so he skated as “the woman” to seduce “the playboy” who was Viktor. (Yuuri always skated as “the woman” because he felt as if he was going to lose Viktor.)

People always said Yuuri was “the playboy” and Viktor was “the woman” but I don’t think Yuuri knew or Viktor ever told him that. In episode 11, the reason why Yuuri didn’t get high scores as he always did, I think it was because he already got Viktor who he always tried to seduce. And by that, it made him thinking about “the scores” instead of “being the woman” or “trying to seduce Viktor”.

But, that still not my favorite part of this theory yet. What I love most about “the playboy and the woman” theory is, if I don’t get this wrong, I think they thought they were “the woman” for the whole time even if the series show us that Yuuri was “the playboy” and Viktor thought “Yuuri was the playboy” to him.

Yuuri didn’t know any of it. Yuuri was drunk and still thought he was “the woman who tried to seduce Viktor”. Yuuri even preferred being “the woman” in his Eros performance than “the playboy” because that what he actually was. Yuuri would never hurt Viktor. Okay, Yuuri might hurt Viktor when he acted as if he didn’t remember anything about that night or thought Eros to him was pork cutlet bowl but he was drunk, he didn’t know and it wasn’t his fault at all. Also, when Yuuri told Viktor he wanted to retire, Yuuri wasn’t being selfish but he just thought Viktor wanted to go back to the ice and how could Viktor go back if Viktor still staying on as his coach.

However, this never makes sense to me until I think of “Stammi Vicino”.

“Stammi Vicino” is a song that tells a story of the man who is afraid to lose someone he loves. And I think the reason why this song is about Yuuri and Viktor, it is because they thought they were “the woman” who would be dumped by “the playboy”. (Okay, I’m not good at English but what I’m trying to say is they were afraid to lose each other.)

Still, I’m not sure if I understand this right but it makes sense to me and I just wow, whoever creates this wonderful plot twist is a genius and deserves an Oscars.

Because if you just take a moment and look

None of these two was “the playboy”

They were just two people who fell in love and thought they would be left by one of them someday but in the end, it turned out to be that they felt the same and they couldn’t live without each other. And if there was “the playboy” in the series, I think it was them, it was them who thought of each other as “the playboy”. It’s like they ended up being “the playboy” without knowing that they were. Yuuri was “the playboy” when he was drunk and Viktor was “the playboy” when he suddenly came into Yuuri’s life. It’s just like Viktor was “the playboy” in Yuuri’s eyes and Yuuri was “the playboy” in Viktor’s eyes. But, at the same time, in their thoughts, they always were “the woman” because they were just so afraid to lose each other. 

And isn’t it pure and beautiful to think of them this way? Because I do.

- When I say which one of them is “the woman” and “the playboy”, it doesn’t mean I think “Viktor is the woman like a real woman” or “Yuuri is the playboy like a real man”. When I say Yuuri and Viktor think they are “the woman”, “the woman” means “someone who is surrendered by someone they fall in love with” and “the playboy” means “someone who tries to make someone to fall in love with them”. (What I’m trying to say is this isn’t about a gender at all. This is just a story of two people who fall in love and it’s beautiful.) 

- These are the reasons why “Yuri on Ice” program is the most purest program. In Yuuri’s fp, there was nothing like in “Eros”. In this program, It was just about Yuuri, Yuuri’s love for his skating and Viktor who helped him realizing all of that. And it just makes me want to cry to think because Yuuri surprised Viktor every goddamn time in this program. He also even won by this program which it was the program that he didn’t have to think about being “the woman” or “trying seduce Viktor”. Yuuri was just being himself in this program and Viktor was always surprised by it. Viktor even kissed Yuuri and cried because of it. - Another thing, I just really love how they find each other and learn “the truth about each other”. Viktor came to Yuuri to learn that Yuuri wasn’t like what he thought which that also happen to Yuuri when Viktor came into his life. And I think this is important, it’s not what I see people often talk about but it’s right there, it’s everywhere in the whole series and I just can’t wait to see more of it in the future.

I dunno my thoughts was always something like a strict but beautiful mother and then a really nice and laid back father?? which viktor gets most of his personality from??

How to stay sane in these trying times

1. Read some news, try to be informed, get very upset.

2. Attend a protest, demonstrate your feelings.

3. Watch Yuri on Ice; restore your faith in humanity. Take a nice hot bath. Get away from it all for a second. Remember that true love is real, and it is here to save your soul should it need saving at any point in the next four years.
