This is my current reading buddy, Ulfric. He's a Russ Berrie plushie from their Yomiko Classics series. His gray fur is a little rough to the touch (his white fur is pretty soft though), but he is absolutely beautiful and a great snuggling size, about 16 inches. I love finding cool plushies at thrift stores!

New rescue just dropped

Little Yomiko Classics German Shepherd I found thrifting. I’ve loved this pastel release for years but have never found one myself! Lil guy needs a good bath and a nice stuffing diet to plump him up

Photographing some toys that are leaving my collection.  They are adorable but I have no room.

So I used to collect Yomiko Classics when I was a kid so when I saw this poor beagle thrifting I picked him up because I knew I could fix him up. I ended getting him for free because he had no price tag. He clearly was very well loved by his former owner, his tush tag was even cut off.

He was unstuffed, washed twice with laundry soap and just a touch of bleach. He was carefully restuffed, a new bean bag was made for one of his paws, and he had a few holes stitched up. I gave him a good brushing out too and while he isn’t brand new he looks much better.
