Do you find yourself having to write at certain times of day depending on the story you're working on or does it not matter? For some reason I write a lot at night so I was curious <3

definitely! honestly i can only really write at night unless i’ve given myself a date to get something out. idk i just don’t like writing during the day for some reason. it makes me feel like i should be out doing something. writing is more of my way to wind down at the end of the day, if that makes sense?

How long does it take you to write a fic over 10,000 words? Do you do it in increments or just knock it out in one large chunk?

well it definitely depends on how inspired i am for the particular story! the most i’ve ever written in one sitting was a bit over 10k with pt1 of my fic i hate you, i love you. however, for the most part i do write in increments. i would say 2-4k is a normal increment for me bc i get burnt out rather quickly. but i of course don’t write every day, simply bc i’m not always inspired or in the mood. so whether it takes me a few months due to lack of motivation, or less than a week due to high levels of motivation to write a fic that’s over 10k, it tends to take me about 3-5 writing sessions mixed throughout that!
