“Yooperlite” on Lake Superior! These rocks are sodalite in syenite and the sodalite part glows when a long wave UV light is shined onto them! Hunting these is so much fun!!

Yooperlite??
I've lived here my whole life how the FUCK am I only just hearing about these.
my half of an art trade with the lovely @sapwine-and-starcharts of their gorgeous OC, Yoopie! I loved drawing this chunky hearthian so much >w<
bonus content under the cut
Guess who got a fancy new ref :3
Their body has changed so much since their original concept that i thought it was time to give them a better ref hehe
theyre definately one of my favourite OCs and i'm really proud of this
hiiii, 24 for Yooperlite pls?
This is like the funniest name for a gem ever I swear, it’s so goofy 😭
I think he’d be friends with Alexi (Lexi uses his glowing hair as a nightlight when he’s staying up late LOL)
Fun! Birtjday present
Yoyleite
I can't believe I've had this fluorescent volcanic agate skull for this long and only realized now that it's UV reactive! I acquired a short wave UV light yesterday, and I have been delightfully shining it on all my UV reactive minerals from my collection!
Fluorescent agate sphere, ruby sphere, and yooperlite tower!
