“Yooperlite” on Lake Superior! These rocks are sodalite in syenite and the sodalite part glows when a long wave UV light is shined onto them! Hunting these is so much fun!!

I can't believe I've had this fluorescent volcanic agate skull for this long and only realized now that it's UV reactive! I acquired a short wave UV light yesterday, and I have been delightfully shining it on all my UV reactive minerals from my collection!
