The way Payos comforts Potae and promises to be there for him, to always believe in him and to be at his side... all while loving him in a way that Potae has no idea about.

Payos versus Gay Thoughts and Gay Anxiety... Payos has lost, big time. He is Suffering and Potae is not helping and has no idea.

It's the way Payos loves him and wants to find the bravery to confess but also wants their friendship to last and so chooses what he feels is cowardice to keep at Potae's side.

Payos just looks so haunted by this. He's spent so much time feeling ashamed of his love for Tae and then Tae offered no comfort when he repeatedly promised to never cross the line and now he feels like he's supposed to be Tae's friend but he doesn't even know how to keep from loving him and so he's trying but Tae also doesn't know what it's like to be friends when Yos isn't in love it just... it has to hurt. To keep living these moments, to keep living what could be perfect but knowing that it isn't what he truly wants.

Payos is in a constant state of Gay Awareness around Potae and it's wonderful.

At what point did Yos imply anything about giving up your dream!? He is literally doing all of this because it's your dream. Neither of you would be here if it weren't your dream. Yos doesn't want this and he's been clear about that! What is Tae even on about?

The shame coming off of Yos is physically painful. How do I save him? Can I send this fictional character a plushie? Can I give him a hug? He is radiating the worst kind of feeling and I just wanna let him be okay. I cannot even imagine how this feels. And Tae is just like... :D Yup! Sounds great! You just keep feeling awful about yourself and your feelings! :D Yay! Friendship!

Seriously, poor Yos. Gets turned down and then has to act like he's okay and keep pushing down not just his feelings but also take care of Tae's feelings while worrying about how everything he does might make him uncomfortable.
