Shavuot being a holiday where we traditionally eat tons of dairy, and ask ourselves questions like, "whose idea was this we're all lactose intolerant" and also being a celebration of Ruth, who converted, and many converts not being cursed with inherited lactose intolerance.

i don't think I can make it this year but. Please look at los siete sielos, a shavuot challah !! the rings are meant to symbolize clouds around sinai!! (at least this is the greek sephardi explanation i know!) it makes me happy
