People out here romanticizing "Twin Flame" unions like it's the fairytale ending you're waiting for. 🔥 It's not. 🔥 Twin flame unions are important karmic relationships and will profoundly change you, but if "happily ever after" is what you're after, you're in for a big shock. ❣ Most of the time, you will meet this person completely unexpectedly (probably after you have sworn off looking) and it will totally flip your life around. One or both you may have traveled very far from home to find the other. Your twin flame is not your "other half" or something that completes you; they are your mirror, a "fun house" style mirror that shows you the shadows of your true self. 🖤 Your mirror soul will challenge you, call you out on your illusions, open karmic wounds and make you face your darkness. Many times, twin flames are not your "life partner" because of the tumultuous nature of the relationship, and a lot of times you will spend weeks, months or even years apart to heal parts of yourself that they have revealed to you. 🖤 That is not to say you won't be happy together at times; in fact, they will probably make you feel more alive than anyone has ever made you feel, and you will be drawn to them like two poles of a magnet, through space and time, sometimes even psychically. 🌈 "Polar opposites" is an accurate description because of the way twin flames often seem to be incredibly different people yet somehow they complement each others' strengths and weaknesses. They are not there to fulfill them, but instead teach you how to strengthen them yourself.
