I can make this REALLY neat taco pie! Need to do that soon, it’s been a while since and it’s such a great thing to store for lunches :) 

Daffodil: What's the most thoughtful present you've ever received?

The 2 week trip to Japan that my boyfriend gave me last Christmas. He knew it was a life-long wish for me to go there to visit, and that I could not afford it on my own. I mean, sure, it was the most expensive gift I’ve ever gotten, but there was so much thought put into it. He had made this super cute little tourist guide for me with a lot of pictures he had taken when he was there on a previous trip and some info about the different places he thought I would like to see.

Azalea: What's a movie you cried while watching?

Big Fish. I saw it pretty soon after my sister had passed and the ending really breaks me. It’s such a beautiful scene but it brings up too much and even though I would love to watch it again I can’t get myself to do it because I fear that ending so much.

hi lovely :) i just wanted to say... i think it's wonderful how you replied to the 'no carbs' situation. i think recently, it's become very popular to shoot down questions with 'funny' and witty remarks, like 'is eating 900 enough'? with 'my left butt cheek eats more' like haha i'm so funny. so yeah, i think you're pretty great.

Aww, thank you. I've gotten quite a few horrible messages which I'm ignoring so to read this was really nice.

I'm not sure what it is. But I think some of the popular fitness tumblr bloggers (not all, many are lovely people who take a lot of their own time to be supportive and helpful) probably forget that their talking to a real person and not just their computer screen and so they think they're being funny. It's easy to be a smart ass, most of them probably wouldn't say that crap to that person face to face.

Another thing is that Tumblr is like high school. Popularity and all the fawning will swell up a person's ego so then you have blogs who act like the popular kids back in high school and you have their followers who will turn from their sheep into sharks and attack anyone who dares speak out or question or think differently. Which is unfortunate.

But again, thank you. It was really lovely of you to reach out :).

carina, my zombie run whisperer :) i recently fell in love with this app and i downloaded zombies 5k, because i'm not really in shape yet for the real deal. but! this weeks workout wasn't really challenging, nor does it seem the next week is. do you think it'd be alright if i skipped to like, week 4-5, or would i miss important bits of the story?

Hey there!

Well, you could either skip and risk to miss some of the story (and we all agree that the story ROCKS!) or you can do the missions anyway but just go harder. Try to run longer, or run faster and see if that gives you more of a challenge? Even though Dr. Maxine says "now walk" you can keep running if you feel like it :)
