..No matter what yesterday brought or tomorrow brings today is a chance to be made new. If the same God who created the earth from nothing, restored Job, redeemed Ruth, and saved Esther (and her people) created you, then he can take your mistakes and turn them in to a masterpiece. If the same God who sent His Son to be born of a virgin and crucified for our Sins so that we might have New life and be reconciled unto him loved you enough to save you once, then why would he love you less when you stumble or fall? Jesus not only restored to life a little girl, but he healed a woman who had been sick, rejected, and overlooked on the way.

So, as a new day begins, let us consider the words of Isaiah 43:19 as not only a promise of the past, but a promise of our present, and our Future. God said: "Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." not to pacify us, but to remind us that we are not Forgotten, Abandoned, Rejected, too Broken, too Confused, too small, too Big, too "Messed up", too Far, too Abused to find Comfort, Love, Grace, Mercy, Peace, Identity, Restoration, Purpose in his Arms and Presence.

Let this day that the Lord has made be the one where you, truly, Rejoice and are able to be Glad in it. Let this day be the day that you turn away from the Bottle, the search for "Likes" and 😍 on Social Media, comfort in tearing someone else down, "relief" in demeaning yourself, familiarity in being a doormat or emotional/physical "punching bag" for someone else, pushing away your loved ones, but looking for comfort in the arms of someone else, smiling instead of speaking up and asking for help, or running away from your calling because you're too worried about what someone else thinks rather than embracing the fact that you've been called to Lead by Example or Speak for the benefit of others by Living and Praising the Lord. Why?

Because God is able to do a New thing in You, your wilderness, your brokenness, your busy life, your desert. God is able and present and working to Do Something New. So, take the time today to surrender all and gift yourself the "gift of Goodbye". Let go of your problems and troubles (internal, external, person, and things) that have hindered you from being able to see that in the midst of your struggle God sent his Son. And, not only that, but He gave his word, surrounded you with people who Love you without conditions, and is waiting to give his Love and Spirit that we might Abide in him as He makes us New.

Let us begin each new Day with New Hope, Reborn, Renewed and Living new Life because we now Belong to Christ! Let us See with New eyes the New Blessings before us. Let us Live with new sense of Joy because of the Renewed Faith within us. Let us experience with New Hearts the Love that you have for us, Lord. With a New Mind and Understanding let us come to know the Magnitude of your Grace, Mercy, and thoughts toward us in a New Way! May we Finally Let Go of the Old: our Old ways, Selves, and Thoughts. Let us Open up to you with New Hearts and Minds to become new Persons living according to a New way: the Ways of the Lord. Let us Celebrate each new Moment knowing that the You make All things New, including us. Let us Carry ourselves as the new Workmanship of God that we are. Glory, Hallelujah! Amen.

Human life is a sacred thing.

Putting aside gender for a moment, I think the deeper issue here is the devaluation of all human life in our society. Thoughts precede actions. The human life is a sacred thing. When people don't see/understand/believe in the equal value of every person or think some people are more/less valuable than another we see it reflected in their actions. 

- instead of blaming society, especially the media, we can be agents of change to educate others-not indocrinate them- but to show them light. Worth
