Why did you have to do this?

Your leaving end I'm just prolonging the inevitable but I can't let you go not today, not tomorrow, not ever because you've done the worst thing possible... You made me love you and I don't want to let go

they always said love with your heart

wholeheartedly 

not with your mind

we both did 

but our cautious mind go in the way 

our hearts got us to meet 

to laugh

to stay 

but our minds got us 

to doubt 

to consider

to guard 

they always said head over heart 

they always said dont wear your heart on your sleeve you'll get hurt

you chose that path 

head over heart

due to hurt you had accumulated before 

i chose heart over head 

cause i believed in second chances second tries 

but with your head set on that very path 

i couldnt deter you couldnt persuade you

so i let you go 

with the very analogy 

if you love someone let them go 

if they come back they are yours to keep 

if they dont then they werent yours to keep
