That was a fair question. Perhaps unexpected and asked too blatantly, but it was fair. Why did she want them to be together so badly? Because she wanted them to be happy? But then was she overstepping the line? Nunnally averted her gaze from Kira.
“I…I am so sorry. I was silly. I did not…I did not intend to make you uncomfortable or push you…push you too much…towards Reiji.”
Kira did not like Reiji. She did not like her beloved brother. But why? Reiji was kind and caring. And he liked Kira, didn’t he?
“I…I just thought…” – Nunnally was still stuttering; her voice sounded sad and broken – “…you told me once that staying with Reiji…that staying there was much better than what you had in life before…I just thought…I just thought that it meant that…you like…feel something for my brother…I guess I have understood wrong and...and you were trying to explain that to me many times and I just...I just was not listening...”
Nunnally finally looked at Kira.
“But I know that he likes you no matter what you say. Yes, he may experiment on you, but it is just as he is. Curious…and…and he also…” – no, Nunnally was not ready to admit that Reiji was also running her experiments on her.
“But I am sorry, Kira. I was all wrong. I should not have said things that made you uncomfortable. I should not wish for something that you did not want.” – or you do not realize you want; oh, stop that Nunnally, you are doing it again – “Kira…I promise…I will not do that again. I…I do not want to force anything on you. I am sorry…I am so sorry…I was wrong.” – the tears in the corners of her eyes. Nunnally was sad. But she meant it. She did not want to make Kira feeling bad – “I want you…I want you to feel comfortable around me…I do care…I do care about you…do you believe me?”

Random headcanon
There are not many house-related chores that Nunnally is good at. Almost none, I think. But she can crotched and embroider. Perhaps also sew a bit. But I can actually imagine Estelle teaching Nunnally how to sew better (cooking is hopeless, though). And then them quilting quilts together for charity? Perhaps in winter, close to the fireplace. Laughing and chatting and gossiping. Locked away from any boys in the manor.
Friendly headcanon
Estella and Nunnally would opt from time to time how to look and behave as modern girls. Trying modern clothes? Make-up? Dying their hair? Going to the beauty salon? But they would always end-up doing something not right. Ridiculous? That would definitely put them into troubles. This way or another. And they would always have Reiji (or Gwydion?) coming to help them. I see them as completely non-adjustable to reality, reinforcing each other flows (or virtues). But still best friends.
Annoying headcanon
Not sure what way it should work, Estelle annoying Nunnally or Nunnally annoying Estella? But perhaps that works both way? When Nunnally finally accepts Estella is not a maid it would be very annoying for her if Estella would continue to help everyone around or not use the help of other maids herself. Cleaning her own room? That’s not your work. Leave it to the maids. Cooking? That’s not your responsibility…Going shopping? Only for fun and not for groceries…

LOL, I find it so funny that Yuriko was hooked on Ikemen Vampire for a moment while I dropped the game during the first route I tried 🤣 Leonardo clearly was not my guy... but judging by the pics of the characters I would pick up him or Napoleon for Yuriko. Not sure if the personalities would work for her though.
Haha, AU could be interesting. I don't know if there are IkeVamp role players on Tumblr, but it could be fun to try out crossover RP 🤭
But from Ikemen Sengoku I would pick for her either Nobunaga, Masamune, or Hideyoshi. She would probably love Nobunaga's kinky side, Masamune's awesome skills in the kitchen, or Hideyoshi's habit to take care of everything.
Then again, Masamune tends to be too flirty with other ladies, especially in the beginning, so that would probably be too much of a turn-off for her to get really to know the guy. So, I guess it's more likely that she would fall for either Nobunaga or Hideyoshi, maybe the latter would suit her personality better... but she wouldn't probably like the way Hideyoshi worships Nobunaga 🤔
But a fun fact: I played Ikemen Sengoku with the name Yuriko still last year. Now, when I started playing again for Yoshimoto's route, I had to change the MC's name. It felt wrong to be Yuriko in that game because... Yuriko is with Ruki now 🤣

Only a heartless person could feel impasible in front of her, but that is my point of view regarding only with my outside being” blushed were her cheeks after a few seconds of silence “I guess… I was not that mindful of something like that could happen, not like I would have the courage to date a girl... but also, I do not know she actually likes girls” she made her fingers touch each other nervously “My father told me once that love has different forms and expressions, and there is not way to suprime the saw on the strings of its song once you heard its melody. That is why” she admitted “I just will let things happen” she smiled softly “Perhaps for my mother it could be, in that time, a blasphemy, but I never will stop myself for feeling the way I feel. I am a ambassadress of freedom. If someday I realize myself feeling something else for Estella, I would not be able to deny my own feelings. I will follow them until them bloom, no matter which kind of flower it will be”
