Summary: After being hopeless in love with your best friend, Y/N decides it’s time to move on.

 Jack and Y/N had been best friends ever since Y/N moved in across the street. They were only seven years old when they first met. He showed the American girl how to fit in. As the years passed Y/N grew more and more attached to her blue eyed friend. You’d basically become part of the Maynard family. The two best friends knew everything about each other that was except for one. Y/N was in love with Jack Maynard. And over the years you’d only fallen harder but he would never see her that. 

You’d seen it all, the girl’s he dated, the one’s he’d bring home to their shared apartment just for one night. You couldn’t help but think back when you were just a couple of crazy kids. The night’s when you’d steal liquor from your dad’s bar and sneaking out to drink it while watching the stars. Jack was your first kiss, it’d happened on a night where you’d snuck off to see the stars. For many years everyone had told you that the two of you would day end up together. But now at the age of 22, it seemed that it was time to move on. 

So tonight you were taking the first step. Tonight you were going out with Alec, a boy you’d meet at the coffee shop one day when you we’re studying for your finals. He was nice, and sweet. He’d completely caught off guard when he asked you out. You looked yourself over one last time.Your hair was in lose curl and hoop earrings hung from your ears. Your outfit consisted of black jeans, a red off the shoulder crop top, and nude heels. As you looked at yourself in the mirror the door to your apartment opened and closed. Jack froze when he saw you. 

You looked at him. You were already nerves and with Jack’s reaction it only sent you overboard. “Do I look that bad?” You asked. When Jack didn’t say anything you panicked. You quickly pulled out your phone and locked at the time.Your Uber would be here in five minutes, there was no time to change.  Jack noticed how nervous you were and slowly made his way towards you. “Hey you look great. I just didn’t expect you to be going out.”

“Oh thank god.” You said in relief.

“Going out with friends?” he asked. He knew you weren’t going out with your friends but he hoped he was wrong. The blue eyed was secretly in love with you but he didn’t want to risk the friendship you to had. If he was being honest, it was the best relationship he had and you weren’t even family.

“A date actually.” You said as your phone rang notifying you that your Uber had arrived. “I’ll see you later. Wish me luck.”

“Luck!” he said as he watched you close the door behind you.

When you got home later that night you found Jack fast asleep in the living room. You sat across from him on the coffee table, you woke him up. He smiled when saw her but it soon faded when he remembered where you had been. “How’d it go?” he asked. Truth was the date had been a nightmare but you didn’t want Jack to worry. “Good, Alec’s great.”

“Why do I feel like there’s a but coming?”

You bit your lip. For years Conor had told you tell Jack how you felt but you were to scared. You weren’t scared of rejection but you were scared ruining all the years of friendship. “Come on, you can tell me anything.” he insisted.

You closed your eyes and pushed a few strands of hair behind your ear. “He’s not great. He’s a total deep shit. He literally talked my ear off thank god  Conor helped me get out of there.” Jack sighed in relief as he watched your features. “I am just happy to be home.” Just like you, Conor had advised his brother to tell you how he felt before it was to late. A watched the man you so hopelessly loved, he scratched the back of his neck. “Is something wrong?” you asked.

“I am going to try something, please don’t freak out.” He said causing you raise a brow. Before you knew it Jack’s lips were pressed against yours. You froze, it’d been a long time since you guys kissed. The first and only time was when you were thirteen. Finally you recomposed yourself and kissed him back. You smiled into the kiss before pulling away. Jack had the biggest smile on his face and his face was bright red. You took his hand and he brought up to his lip and kissed your hand. “I love you. I always have, and its always been as more then friends.” he said. Your smile only grew bigger and so you leaned in a kissed him again. It was like your flying over the moon. 

“I love you to Jack.”

“You ready to film, Tyler?” I asked my co-star Tyler Blackburn. We were currently filming season seven of Pretty Little Liars (I was going to choose supernatural but thought you all might know this better). I was playing a hacker called (choose a name), who is dating Tyler, who is playing Caleb Rivers, another hacker. He nodded as we made our way to the set.

“Wait try this.” Caleb said, leaning over (the name you chose)’s shoulder. He began to type some javascript into the computer as a ding was heard..

“You cracked it!” (the name you chose) smiled, proud of Caleb.

“No, we cracked it!” Caleb smiled, pressing his lips against (the name you chose)’s. 

“Cut!”  Chad called. 

“That was fun!” I laugh heading towards where we were sat before filming. Tyler nodded as we sat down.

“Wanna get something to eat after filming?” He asked. 

“Sure!” I smile, grabbing my phone to text oli.

“Hey, me and Tyler are going to get something to eat after filming. I can walk home. Love you <3 xxx”  I text Oli, before putting my phone away as Troian (Spencer) walked up to us.

“Hey!” She smiled sitting next to Tyler. 

“Hey, when you on set?” I asked.

“In ten. How about you?” She asked. 

“We’ve just finished Just waiting for you guys.” Tyler smiled at her. 

“Ooh did you two get kissy kissy?” she laughed.

“Anyway I’ve got to go, i’m on” She smiled standing up.

“Good luck.” Tyler and I smiled, before she walked away.

“So lunch?” Tyler asked as we walked out to go grab something to eat.

“Hey Oli, I’m home!” I called as I walked into Oli and I’s apartment. 

“Yep.” He muttered, an unknown emotion evident in his voice. I walked into our lounge, placing my bag on the floor and sitting beside him on the sofa.

“What’s wrong?” I asked, confused as to why Oli was in a mood.

“How’s Tyler?” He spat, ignoring my question. It suddenly hit me, he was jealous of Tyler and I. I began to laugh, finding the situation hilarious. 

“Why are you laughing, maybe you should be with him.” He sighed.

“Oli, Tyler’s with Troian (or Ashley you choose).” I laughed.

“Oh.” He said as we began to laugh.
