I'd just like to say, I have no idea how train stations work in London, since I'm from a really small town where you can just buy tickets on the train. Please don't injure me lololol~
"You almost ready?" Joe asked, on the other side of the phone.
"Bloody girls." He muttered, causing a smile to make its way onto my face. Tonight Joe, Caspar, Oli and I were going to a halloween party at Zoe and Alfies home in Brighton. We had all decided to meet up to get the train down, and get a hotel since we would be drinking.
Once I had gathered all my things together in a bag, I headed towards the door.
Moments later, I was stood outside Jaspars door, humming (favourite song) to myself, as I waited for them to answer.
"Hey!" I hear a voice, which I recognise as Oli's, call from across the street. Turning on my heel, I spot Oli walking over the road.
"Hey" I smile, just as the door opens.
"Well, well, welll. Look at the two love birds here." Caspar laughed, widening the door to allow us in.
"Shut up." I mumbled, playfully punching him in the shoulder, before walking into the lounge/kitchen.
"Hey Y/N. Hey Oli." Joe smiled, standing up.
"You guys ready?" He asked, to which we both nodded.
"Finally." He laughed, wincing as I flicked him on the head. Placing my bag down, I sit on the couch, waiting for Joe and Caspar to get their jackets and put their shoes on.
"So, what time is our train leaving?" I ask, making sure we had enough time.
"10:15." Joe said, fastening his shoes.
"Are you kidding?" I asked, as I looked at my watch.
"Wait, really?" He said, quickly standing up and grabbing his phone to check the time. Muttering a curse word, he grabbed his things, before ushering us out the door.
After running down the streets to arrive at the train station, we finally find our platform.
"Quick!" Joe says, as we push through the crowds of people to reach our train. Once we reach the door, the train begins to depart.
"You have got to be kidding me" I say, shaking my head.
"When's the next train?" Oli asks, facing Joe as we walk towards the nearest bench.
"12:30." Joe says, checking the schedule on his phone.
"So 2 hours and 15 minutes?" I say, placing my bag down and sitting on the bench.
We waited for around an hour, just sitting down on our phones in silence, when Caspars stomach decided to growl, making him grow bright red.
"Did any of you eat?" I ask, laughing as the shook their heads. I guess none of us had time to eat.
"Do you want to go get some food? I'll pay, since I made us late." I laugh, pulling out a twenty pound/dollar/other, note from my pocket.
"You sure?" Oli asks, giving me a slight smile, awakening all the butterflies in my stomach.
"Yeah, my treat." I say, giving the best smile I could.
"Race you." He smiles, before bolting away, towards the exit with Joe and Caspar laughing behind us.
"How-did you manage to win?" Oli panted, as we waited outside the small cafe for Joe and Caspar.
"I knew how far away it was." I laughed.
"You'll pay for that." He laughed, as he began chasing me.
"Excuse me, no running" A security guard said, grabbing onto our shoulders as though we were eight.
"Sorry." I said, hoping to keep the smile off my face at his stern face. As soon as he had left, Oli and I both burst into laughter.
"SHIP" I hear Caspar yell from the stairs leading down to the floor we were on.
"For god sake, Caspar" Oli muttered, making me laugh.
"What took you two so long?" I asked, as we walked into the cafe.
"Oh-a few viewers stopped us, asking for photos." Joe smiled. He always loved meeting viewers.
"So, what do you want?" I asked.
"This, this and this." Caspar said, pointing at random things on the counter.
It was around 12:15 when we eventually made our way back up onto our platform. With the train departing at around 12:30, it should arrive here soon and arrive at Brighton around 2PM.
"Where do you guys wanna sit?" Caspar asked, watching the train begin to arrive.
"The back? Or get a compartment?" I reccommend, to which they nod.
"Come on then." Joe laughs, as we walk onto the train.
"Give it back!" I laugh, reaching up hoping to grab my phone from Oli's hand.
"Not until you say sorry." He laughs.
"Never!" I say, continuing to laugh and jump up to grab my phone.
"Then you don't get it back." He smiles, holding it up higher.
"Meanie." I say, sitting down, crossing my arms jokingly.
Oli and Y/N had left to go get us some food and face paint for our costumes, telling Caspar and I to get our hotel rooms and that they would get theirs after.
Walking up to the front desk to recieve our room keys, I press the bell. A young boy, around twelve walks up to the table, leaving his little brother alone.
"King, or two queens?" He asks.
He looked over at Caspar on his phone, before replying.
"Yeah, I bet." He scoffs, shaking his head slightly. (If you know what this is from, HELLO!)
"I am so sorry." A woman, around her mid-thirties, apoligises as she walks through the door with her hands full with boxes.
"No worries." I smile, going to help her with the boxes.
I jumped slightly, hoping to reach the face paint from the top shelf.
"Why is it so high?" I muttered to myself, attempting to reach it again.
"Do you need help, miss?" A man, around twenty, asks.
"Yeah, thanks." I smile, gratefully as he reaches it from the shelf.
"I must say, you are very pretty, why are you here alone?" He asks, suggestively.
"She's not." Oli says protectively, coming up behind me.
"Oh-Sorry man." the man says, holding his hands up, before leaving.
Turning to face Oli, I flash him a confused look, to which he just innocently shrugs.
"That tickles." I laugh/giggle, as Oli applies face paint onto my face, causing him to laugh.
"You look very pale." He laughs, making me shove him.
"Hey! I'm just saying." He says, surrendering, as that man had done earlier.
"I think I'm done." he says, shutting the tub and placing it on the cabinet beside us.
"Thanks." I smile, putting on my jacket, which I had put on the bed beside us. I had decided to go as a vampire, Oli had decided to go as a zombie, Joe had decided to go as a clown (following the killer clown craze) and Caspar had decided to go as a pizza. No, literally an actual pizza. He had bought a costume online. Why do they even sell them.
"So, guys. Do I look tasty?" Caspar asks, smiling goofily as he exits the bathroom in his pizza costume. As soon as he came out, we all burst into laughter.
"Come on." I say, as I carry on laughing.
"You do realise, we have to walk six blocks like this?"
As soon as we entered Zalfies house, the music deafened us. They were currently blasting all star, while Dan (Howell) was laughing, dressed as Shrek.
"I'm gonna go get a drink." Joe smiles, before leaving.
"Guys!" Zoe smiles, calling us over to her. Or I think she was, the music was too loud.
"Hey Zo!" I smile, hugging her.
Zoe and I had been friends since secondary school. We had met in our art class, when we got put in groups for a project.
"How are you!" She smiled, watching Oli and Caspar speak to Alfie.
"Good! And you?" I ask, smiling.
"I'm good! Do you want a drink?" She offers, handing me a drink.
"Thanks, Zo!" I smile, taking a sip.
"I've gotta go find Louise, but I'll see you around?" She asks, to which I nod.
"See you." I smile, watching her leave.
Stepping outside, I take in a deep breath. Sure the party was fun, but being surrounded by people and quite a few drunk people just got too much after a while.
"Hey, you okay?" Oli asks, stepping beside me.
"Huh? Oh-yeah. Just a lot of people." I say, turning to face him, to see he's staring at me.
"You're beautiful." He quickly says, before going red and leaving, leaving me standing outside confused.
After looking out for Oli all night, I decide to leave. We had been there for a few hours now, and it was getting very hot and sweaty.
"Hey, Zoe. I'm going to leave, it was great to see you." I smile
"It was great to see you too! Be safe." She smiles, giving me a hug.
I decided it was pointless telling Joe I was leaving, since he was no-where to be seen, and slightly intoxicated, so instead I just text him.
As soon as I stepped inside the hotel room, I sighed in relief. Heading into the bathroom, I was off the face paint and grab a towel from the rack to shower.
After showering, I quickly dry my hair and change into my night clothes. I hadn't really drank tonight, so I decided I should be okay in the morning. I grabbed some aspirin and water, and put them on Joe, Caspar and Oli's tables beside their beds for the morning.
Around ten minutes later, I hear the door open and some steps walk through the hall. Whoever it was, couldn't be drunk, since they weren't stumbling or doing whatever they do when they're drunk.
"Oh hey." Oli smiles slightly, as he walks around the corner.
"Hey." I smile, scrolling through twitter and liking the occasional tweet.
"Did you see Joe or Caspar, when you left?" I asked, hoping they weren't too drunk.
"I think they were playing truth or dare." He laughed, placing his things down.
"About what I said earlier-" He began, turning towards me.
"I meant it." He said, causing the buterflies to begin in my stomach again, and my cheeks to turn red.
"R-Really?" I stutter, as he walks towards me.
"Yeah." He says, placing his hand agaisnt my cheek.
"I think you're the most amazing person in the world, and I-I really like you." He smiles slightly, cheeks turning red.
"I really like you too." I confess, eyes darting to the ground before meeting his eyes.
"C-Can I kiss you?" He asks, to which I nod allowing him to press his lips against mine.
