Tomorrow morning, I start Youv2 from Beachbody. At a later date, I’ll switch programs, and after that, my plan is to add in Body Boss. I know it isn’t technically a Monday, but who on earth needs a actual Monday to start their health and fitness journey? This has been a long time in the making. I didn’t gain all this extra weight overnight (even though it feels like I did); it took medicinal side effects, depression and some seriously sedentary hobbies to help this body of mine along in to the obese category. And now it’s going to take some hard work and dedication to build it in to what I WANT it to actually be; athletic, healthy, strong, able to keep up with daily tasks without dizziness and breathlessness. Able to run with my spouse and enjoy morning dates to the gym with him. I know I’m going to end up slipping along the way, but I will NOT stop this time. I refuse. Failure is no longer a option when A. My health is on the line and B. My happiness is too. A huge bonus is the fact that exercising will help my mental health. It’s something my therapist has been pushing for since our very first session. Before pictures and measurements to follow in a later post!
