Utpluthih We are always coming out. We need safety out there to tell our stories, some will remain personal but many emerge as perception of safety reaches a threshold. Back in June 2020, I decided to stop drinking alcohol and join conversations that assist to remain this way. While I did not think of myself as an alcoholic, I thought it was no longer serving me any purpose, rather was activating some personality features that was not contributing to my wellbeing. I joined a community of people that remain abstinent of alcohol because alcohol was toxic for my health. The decision process involved awareness of why, when, how and what I drink. It was an honest and rigorous process of self discovery and a brave step forward about where and I’m going and want to be as human being and how I want to live for the rest of my life. . .. . . #utpluthih #yogapractice #yoyoga #selfcare #yogagay #wtf2020 #recovery #comingoutstory (at North Andrews Garden) https://www.instagram.com/p/CF4MjDrA6m2/?igshid=gqmagwjfz4zm
