It’s said that the posture with which you struggled the most is the posture you need the most. I am a believer that this statement is true, and is not only applicable to the practice of Asana but to all aspects of life. If something is difficult for us, it clearly requires more practice, more effort, though I do not believe that this should be equated to force it or push it. We build a lot of resistance to do those things that are more difficult for us so they appear to be even more complex than what they really are, because, besides the fact that there is an evident weakness or lack of in that specific aspect, we add to it the force of resistance, so the journey becomes even harder. For me, that was the case for #utpluthih, to which I resisted for a long time, hiding in justifications such as: my arms are too short, my hips are too heavy, my torso is too long... so I used to count the ten breaths as fast as possible to be able to finally get out of it. The posture only started to be transformed once I started focusing on other aspects of the posture besides its shape, instead of thinking if the posture looked so bad I started to focus on the breath, and from there on the Bandhas from where the posture started to change... One of the most important practices to incorporate in life is the practice of surrendering, for which we must learn to accept things as they are, embrace what has to be done and trust in what we do no matter the results. 📷👉🏽@fotosbyboca
