today’s warm up brought to you by a violent wave of nostalgia and a refusal to accept the canon ending so have mine- 

instead of spending eternity with a bunch of practical strangers he barely remembers and no longer relates to, the gods let Atem choose his own “paradise” and he basically demands (politely) that he be sent back to earth to live out a mortal life with Yugi and the rest of their found family. The gods, not wanting to be rude to the guy who’s saved the world like, ten times over even while a ghost, say okay and yeet him back to domino to enjoy a new life as an exhausted human being, getting a job and paying taxes and  dealing with back aches.

but he’s with Yugi and their family, so he thinks the back aches and figuring out how to pay taxes are an incredibly small price to pay for finally having a home.

these two and the whole gaggle of friends will live rent free in my head until the day they put me in the goddamn ground, i’m telling you. 

anyway, thats the nostalgia for the day, back to pirates and homoeroticism and  whatever else i do on this blog
