I really don't understand why I have to talk about it. If you ask me, Crowley shouldn't know anything about my life before coming here at all.

Unfortunately, let's just say he was rather…. Persistent, in wanting my statement. The statement of my life, that is.

I guess I should call it my ‘old life’.

…. I'll just get straight to the point. I wouldn't want to bore anyone who's listening to this statement, after all.

For seven years of my life, I was living out on the streets. Homeless, malnourished, and really unclean.

Sure, I lived in a homeless shelter for a while, but things got complicated. And difficult. And I left once I turned four.

…. I'd rather not specify why.

I never knew my biological mother, or my father. No idea what happened to them, but… I'm scared to find out.

I'm not sure why.

But either way, I don't wanna make it too much of a hassle to explain. I was living out on the streets for the first seven years of my life.

I often had to rummage through the trash of fast food joints for food, and all the water I drank usually came from the lake in one of the local parks.

It wasn't an easy life. I honestly pity little me for having to go through all that for so long.

Eh. But what can you do, right? The past is the past, so…. Might as well make the future a little brighter.

And that's what I thought they'd give me. The Kenshō family. Old money.

Really traditional, and really rich.

They named me ‘Yuuta’. Or rather, I told them my first name was ‘Yuu’, and they simply added to it.

Not that my name would've changed the way they raised me.

I don't even know why they adopted me in the first place. If they were gonna adopt a child, they should've at least given that child some good old-fashioned acknowledgment!

Hah, then again, knowing them? They were way too focused on making a profit than taking care of the child they decided to adopt off the streets! Assholes, is what they are!

…. Forget them. Forget that life. Fuck them, and fuck their money.

I… If I'm gonna make a statement about my life, I might as well talk about something — someone — I actually care about.

I met a girl when I was in the fourth, maybe fifth, grade. We knew each other up until our second year of middle school. And after that? I never saw her again.

There was nothing between us. If anything, I like to think she saw me as a brother, rather than anything outside of that. I certainly saw her as a little sister.

It makes me feel even shittier, going back and remembering the way I treated her once we got into the sixth grade.

I don't even know what came over me. I just…. I just decided to treat my only friend like shit, just for the acknowledgment of people who never gave that much of a fuck about me.

And it sucks. It sucks to know that I tormented her up until the second year of middle school, and before I could even begin to apologize — she left.

Maybe it's for the better. Maybe she's happier now, now that she's far from me.

….. I miss her. And, I wish I got the chance to apologize to her.

Summary: Yuuta decides to question Miren when he chose to ruin his weekly gardening session. So Miren's only solution at the time was to offer him food.

Yuuta was having a wonderful time.

Gardening was a passion of his. A comfort he'd confide in whenever there came a time when he just needed to create a rift between himself and the rest of the world.

His touch against the white rose in his hand was gentle, a contrast to the proud and devious smile on his face.

"I'll never understand why Heartslabyul doesn't just leave these roses white…. Probably something I forgot about from the movie." Yuuta murmured, feeling rather petty enough to chop off the red roses instead of the white ones.

He knew Riddle would've given him a lecture over the rules of the queen of hearts, but honestly, Yuuta could hardly care less.

His gloves were like a second skin to him, something that was conceived when he was born.

He hummed, touching the lotus in his hands."My symbol of wealth…." He fought back another chuckle before he continued walking around the botanical garden.

He had managed to narrowly avoid disturbing Leona's regular naps, as well as managing to convince Grim that he'd chop him in half if he ever did anything to disturb his gardening.

But unfortunately for the young man, Miren ended up bumping into him as he was wandering around the botanical garden.

And that irked Yuuta. He sent Miren a scowl, along with showing the vein on his forehead.

Miren blinked with wide eyes for only a moment.

"I-I apologize…"

Yuuta clicked his tongue, visibly annoyed."You better be. You interrupted my alone time." The tone in Yuuta's voice was enough for Miren to understand one thing.

That gardening meant more to Yuuta than he initially thought.

Miren gulped, "Sorry…" he muttered, looking away from Yuuta's direction with a nervous smile.

Yuuta's eyes narrowed. He put the watering can he had been holding to cross his arms. He looked down at Miren like he was a mere speck of dust that needed to be removed.

The cold stare he gave him had Miren realize another thing. That Yuuta should never be disturbed whenever he's gardening.

After those fleeting moments of total silence, Miren gulped and cleared his throat.

Yuuta arched a brow at him."What now?" He questioned, appearing impatient for whatever Miren had to say.

Miren had to take a breath before he could respond."I… Can offer you food." He suggested.

Yuuta's lips parted once he said those words, but Miren noticed how unimpressed he was with his suggestion. Which… Is unsurprising.

"Seriously?"

"Y-Yeah-"

"Food isn't gonna change the fact that you've ruined my mood, you utter disturbance."

It was Miren's turn to narrow his eyes."This guy is more easily irritated than I thought…" he muttered as quietly as he could.

"What was that?" Unfortunately for him, Yuuta had managed to hear him.

"Nothing!- Uh- How about you just try the food?"

Although Yuuta turned away from Miren, he kept eye contact with them."Depends. What kind of food is it?" Yuuta's voice sounded like he was requesting an immediate answer.

To which Miren gladly obliged, just so he doesn't get even more upset at him. So he held the food he was holding out for Yuuta to see.

"Donkkaseu, it's basically a breaded pork cutlet…" Miren stated. His smile became even more awkward, and he didn't know how Yuuta would respond.

In response, Yuuta pursed his lips."Seriously? That's your offering for my forgiveness?" Yuuta criticized.

Now Miren was starting to get a little more than pissed at the taller young man in front of him."It's not like I bring a feast everywhere I go." He retaliated, deciding to show a little more of his annoyance.

"Oh please. Aren't you a good cook?"

"Of course you know I am, I'm literally the one who makes breakfast."

Yuuta rolled his eyes."That doesn't change the fact that food isn't gonna be the solution to my bitter mood."

This time? It was Miren's turn to have an unnaturally visible vein on his forehead.

"Just eat the damn food, Yuuta."

Frustrated by his insistence, Yuuta took the donkkaseu from Miren's hands and shoved it into his mouth.

And immediately Miren noticed the change in his expression.

His eyes softened and his face didn't look as irritated after the first couple of bites. And his neutrality transitioned into having literal sparkles in his eyes.

After swallowing the donkkaseu, Yuuta felt a faint blush on his cheeks and looked away.

Miren saw this as an opportunity to affectionately make fun of him.

"You liked it, didn't you?"

"No comment."

Miren didn't fight back his snort."C'mon, Yuuta. Admit it already."

"Absolutely not."

"You've got to be- Yuuta, just admit that you like the donkkaseu. It isn't that difficult."

After what felt like hours of bickering, Yuuta groaned as he rolled his eyes. Miren was surprised his eyes weren't stuck at the back of his head from how many times he's rolled them.

But at least his answer was worth it. For Miren, at least.

"F-Fine….. I guess I did like it a lot more than I thought."

Hi UiO! I'm really sorry that this took a long time for me to answer, writer's block hasn't exactly been kind to me ^^|| Another thing I'd like to apologize for is the potential ooc moments and the writing quality of the oneshot. I was genuinely excited to finish my WIP of this(Because its Yuren) oneshot, but I hope it wasn't too bad for you! Yuuta Sumeragi, the face of greed

Yuuta's a gardener. And I will not exaggerate this, because he is a gardener canonically.

Behind all the greed and germaphobia Yuuta has, he's also an avid gardener and occasionally spends time in the botanical gardens to care for the flowers.

He considers it a nice pastime to do after robbing Crowley of his riches- I mean being the Ramshackle prefect.

He doesn't care much for Grim, but he'll admit that he's surprisingly a good help when it comes to gardening. Mostly because Grim's aware of how comforting the hobby is to Yuuta and doesn't want to ruin his day by messing up. Especially with how much of a perfectionist Yuuta is

Whenever a day isn't the best, Yuuta would only sigh, and spend the rest of his day gardening in the botanical gardens until the sun sets.

Victoria Shard, beautiful manipulator

Victoria, ever since she was a child, was very adamant on learning swordsmanship. And as of present day, she's known as one of NRC's best swordsmen.

But, during her childhood, Victoria also yearned for her grandmother's approval. And only took up swordsmanship in order to be acknowledged.

As time went on, she slowly grew attached to her little hobby, and it soon became her biggest selling-point as the daughter of a grand duke.

She's won many awards for her abilities, including the famed swordsman solstice (Hosted by her family, but no biased opinions on certain opponents).

What made Victoria's abilities as a swordswoman unique, was that she incorporated ballet into her technique. It was mesmerizing to even look at her as she swung her sword, looking as if she were performing swan lake as she defeated her opponents.

Crowley sees her as a prodigy. While Grimhilde sees her as a means to an end and refuses to acknowledge her talents. Nevertheless, Victoria will not stop until she's finally given the acknowledgement she desires.

Aijin's Career: Yuuta's story 👑

Author's note: Idk if I'll do one for everyone, but since I haven't done the story of Yuuta's idol career, I might as well do it now!

The beginning

To start, Yuuta wasn't all that interested in being an idol in the beginning

He was focused on being a business entrepreneur

And he also happened to be the adopted son of an upper-middle class married couple

But... Due to some unfortunate circumstances, Yuuta left them and was automatically disowned

Which forced him to start his career from scratch without the help of his parents and their financial support

He started by being an employee in a marketing team that happened to be connected with NRC corporations

No one really knows how he got employed so easily, and Yuuta prefers not to discuss it because he probably gaslit the head of the company

Yuuta wanted to work somewhere in the fashion industry since he already had a good sense of style(Thanks to his nonstop shopping sprees when he was with his parents, he knows what looks good and what doesn't), but they were either very bitchy rude to him during interviews or had shallow views of attractiveness

So he ended up working at a marketing team that advertises idols

Meeting Crowley and Mayuu

After a couple months of working in the marketing team, Yuuta ended up becoming one of their best employees thanks to his advertisment ideas

Specifically about encouraging idols to be confident in their appearances and wear what they like, even if it looks like they're wearing it for the fanservice

This caught the attention of Dire Crowley, the CEO of NRC Corp, one of the top companies in the entertainment industry

Crowley had plans for a new idol group that's set to debut, and noticed Yuuta's talents in marketing and surprisingly, singing.

Yuuta can sing, and he actually has a rather impressive octave whenever he sings

Which is from the vocal lessons that he taught himself after taking a couple classes in his old boarding school I'll be honest here that he was and always will be a rich kid

But back to Crowley

He advised the assigned manager for the newest idol group, Mayuu(Formerly known as the idol 'Mayumi'), to visit and scout Yuuta so he can become an idol trainee for this group

Mayuu, somewhat confused that he'd think someone from a marketing firm would be qualified to become an idol, reluctantly agreed

Of course, Yuuta had to pass an audition after he obliged to Crowley's request

If he passed, he'll be guaranteed to join the group. But if he failed, he can just work in NRC Corp as Mayuu's assistant and head of the marketing department for the group

Yuuta's audition

When he was told by Mayuu that he'd be auditioning for an idol group, he felt a little skeptical

I mean he knew it was legitimate, but why would Crowley want him to audition for an idol group when he works for a marketing firm?

But since he was promised to work at the company and get paid handsomely even if he fails the audition, he reluctantly obliged to Crowley's request

I mean, Yuuta knows he's good at singing, but he isn't on the level of people like Vil or like- Ariana Grande

And yet he blew everyone away with his vocals

He did a cover of Panic! At the disco's song: "There's a reason these tables are numbered, Honey"

And his voice? It was phenomenal

Mayuu was starstruck. She knew Yuuta took a couple vocal lessons, but his voice rivaled Brendon Urie's, the singer of the song he just sang

Yuuta practically passed the audition with flying colors without trouble

Even though he was a little nervous about becoming an idol, he still felt happy that he passed

Yuuta asked Mayuu if he could take a couple more vocal lessons before the group debuted, since he didn't want to constantly gasp for air every time he finished a high-note

He actually had a bit of trouble with his vocal lessons since he had to learn music terms that he hasn't heard of since high school

When the group debuted, Yuuta didn't do any fanservice up until their second comeback album

He has faced a bit of controversy for becoming an idol so easily, and for encouraging other idols to 'slut it up' (his own way of saying that they should be more confident in their bodies)

Got along with Miren and Juvia the most when he first met them

Somewhat related to Ellis because of her inexperience as an idol(And he secretly wishes the best for her career)

As a bonus to one of [ (Co)-connect ]'s albums, Yuuta's album is known to be the most controversial due to the response fans had.

It wasn't negative, it's just that it's been titled as exclusive because fans kept fighting for his album to the point they sold out when it released

His album is considered to be the most exclusive because of the lack of copies there are of it, since they're almost always sold out
