Z-ARC from Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V? My intuition is that it's 4/3 using the "is Snake in 7 trials to glory?" caveat and then going through Duel Links.
Z-ARC has a Ryu Number of 3.
Ever think about what Zarc must have been like in his prime? Before he went all bloodthirsty maniac, or even shortly afterwards even. Akaba Leo said he ran around the field like he was one with his monsters, what must have that looked like? What did it look like when the greatest duelist ever truly duel?
Did his monsters launch him in the air to one of his dragons to take off in the skies above the city, and once he hit the apex he jumped off like a daredevil from a plane? Did he and his magicians catch each other hand by hand like the acrobats in Cirque Du Soleil? Did he race his monsters across the field putting everything in the sprint? Did he climb and jump over people and buildings like he was freerunning? Did he put his whole body into his plays and emotions, punch theair as if the action carried his dragon's force as they attacked?
Just a presence so dynamic it captivated the stage.
Perhaps not. When we see him taking control of Yuya he looks so eerily calm and in control. Being thrown around like a ragdoll got no reaction. But in that final duel, he's completely still. He fused with his dragons, he cannot move at all.
Perhaps that's a symbol of how far he fell. I think we were robbed, but perhaps he also robbed himself.
Makoto:...
Zarc:...
Makoto:...So...Why are you hiding in this tree?
Zarc:Why are you?
Makoto:Hiding from my girlfrenemy, it was her birthday a few hours ago and she's trying to kill me as part of her "Gift"
Zarc:Sorry man.
Makoto:It's fine, she will never be able to kill me, it's also her way of flirting...I just need a break from her.
Zarc:Well my girlfrenemy is hounding my ass because this is our "Special Day" in which we had our second encounter so now she wants to "Celebrate" it with me and...She's so overbearing sometimes, she practically glues herself to me and never leaves me alone...I just need a break.
Makoto:Yeah I get ya, my girlfriend is the same.
Zarc:...You seem like a nice fellow, what's your name?
Makoto:My name is-
Junko:MAKOTO~!
Makoto:AHHHHHHHH!
Zarc:Oh so that's your name-
Ray:ZARC~!
Zarc:AHHHHHHHH!
merry zarc-mas! (if you liked it, do consider reading the afterword i wrote for this comic as well)
