I'm doing the same thing but in reverse for OFMD: I just finished watching Ted Lasso for the first time and now I'm like "I really wanna watch that Messy Pirate Romance but I need to give my Emotion Processing Unit at least 4 weeks to recover or I will Overload and enter some sort of chrysalis state" (but once you do get around to it if you want any content warnings or if you want me to tag for season 2 spoilers or anything hmu!)

You know. I have no sense of self-preservation and absolutely would never have thought of it that way, but you're right!! Anything I watch right now won't have the ability to breathe and exist on its own. It will absolutely be colored by how utterly obsessed I am with the pirates, and that's not fair to this thing I've genuinely been looking forward to seeing. So thank you for saying so.

I guess I'll just have to fall back on plan b, which is rewatch Flight of the Conchords and then the WWDITS movie and TV show. Just to put some similar delights into the void.

Cal! I want to treat myself to some fancy soap for Valentine's Day, but I'm not familiar with any of the characters in that line, and I don't have a strong preference for scents when it comes to soap (I like so many!). Do you have any character soap that you like best or are extra-proud of?

The two scents I wear most often myself are Cullen and Kaidan, because they smell amazing on me.

My very favorite IN GENERAL is Iron Bull, because this giant badass’s favorite color is pink and he uses his terrifying black market mercenary connections to get hot chocolate delivered to the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, my skin chemistry melts all the chocolate and it smells like orange crush on me, which is an ENDLESS TRAGEDY OF MY LIFE.

My favorite of the florals is Josephine, because it smells like Disney Princess and it makes me smile every time.

Jack is a new favorite because those notes shouldn’t work together AND YET THEY DO, and that is AMAZING.

Lastly, Alistair is officially canonically Alistair approved, because Steve Valentine is a goddamn international treasure.

do i want to? heck yeah. will i have time? ...actually yeah in a couple of weeks, and this wouldn't be a right away thing anyway because it's still in the planning stages...

It won’t be right away, I have to check calendar for dates and get someone to help me because I don’t think I can build everything by myself lol. So, It won’t be right away :)

I gave up on Twitter PERMANENTLY so I feel ya! Cider, cinnamon, and cocoa?

I SHOULD GIVE IT UP PERMANENTLY. So far I have not scrolled twitter for two days and in those two days I got out of bed faster than usual and knocked like four things off my running to do list. I am worried about missing out on my friends’ lives, which is the thing that keeps me tethered there, but perhaps this is the start to working out how to handle that a different way. 

Cider. I disliked most vegetables growing up, because we almost exclusively ate them out of a can. I don’t know about your life, but the green, salty gloop that is canned spinach does not bring me joy. The first time I tried fresh baby spinach it was a REVELATION. And like, spring greens instead of iceberg lettuce? Fresh broccoli? FRESH GREEN BEANS? PLEASE. I’LL EAT THEM INSTEAD OF FRIES. I have missed so much in my life and I am now just eating spinach out of the bag to make up for it.

Cinnamon. I have very romantic daydreams sometimes about being an early 19th century explorer who just travels around and documents birds and trees while also somehow NOT exacerbating the problems of colonialism and imperialism that have been rife through history. Not that I know how to do that even in 2020. But you know, take only exquisitely hand drawn pictures of wildlife and foliage, leave only footprints. 

Cocoa. I have always wished my hair was just a bit thicker. It holds curl well, and it will almost straighten with the right application of heat and product, but it gets so frizzy and dandelion like if left to its own devices. And sometimes, since I live in Florida, in spite of my other attempts. But I like my current cut. I feel most at home with this very dumb haircut. However, if I could do a spell and have my hair be an ombre of magenta to purple for the rest of forever I would do it in a snap. I miss looking like this so much.

Uh, I usually make these when I’m having a lot of feelings, especially if I want to write but I can’t get the words to work, which is probably pretty obvious. Anyway, I can still be open for commissions if people are interested. It just takes me a while to finish them and get them out because of all of the other things I owe people. There will be more posted in the future regardless of that though, because mostly I make them for myself and I don’t think I’m going to stop having feelings anytime soon.

Corn Fields: It's 2 am and you've been driving for hours. Suddenly your car slows to a halt. The gas tank is empty. In the distance you can see faint lights. Shouldn't there be only fields and abandoned barns for the next 10 miles? Do you try your luck and get out in the dark to seek help or wait in your car until the sun rises?

God, I wish I was the person who would go towards the lights. I feel like I’ve spent most of my life noting the lights on the horizon and then staying put. So in typical me fashion I think I would just sit with my phone, tweeting and texting people until the problem worked itself out or the sun rose, whichever happened first. 

Moon: early bird or night owl?

Night owl for sure! Partially because I just don’t sleep for shit and partially because that’s when I feel most awake and can focus my natural rumination into sometimes productive shapes.
