ZA9 Restless Stars

It started off a bit slow for my liking (but I think I'm biased since I am very Zodiac fatigued). It actually wasn't a 5 for me until the last 25% or so.

Even though they captured Clyde relatively smoothly and quickly, this final battle was still HARD AF. Like, wtf.

While no one "important" died, I was crying all over the place for these minor characters. I was honestly kind of over all the war stuff until stakes got real. The close calls with Seth, Geraldine, and Lance had me feeling ill.

Gods, and the clay statues? Geraldines' genius formations? The only thing pissin me off is Vard. Tory deserved to brutally murder that rat.

The clay soldiers really made me happy since it was so unexpected but genius, and it was a nice surprise to see everyone from the veil once more. UGH, so good. And that's really when the tides of the battle turned, so everything just felt happy and beautiful after that. Also, I approve of Tharix's redemption arc. It's kind of an interesting tin man moment.

Omfg i know its for the plot but did Lance and-

-Darius really have to just set off on a duo adventure without even checking back with the twins?? Like the two people that would immediately be able to tell something is up, leave for gods know how long to get more stones.. zzzzz

Like Darius didn't want to check in just once with Tory before going?!

I hate the twins being mimiced 😭😭 Clyde can do so much to ruin their reputation before he is caught.

So, za9 finally came in the library for me! Unfortunately, with my birthday and Christmas so close, I had to return it immediately :(

It only slightly hurts...

But uh, I found Trueblood Season 1 at the library, so that helps?
