Poetry Scrapbook Drop: Plant Murder Edition
So I just posted a poem on Ko-fi that got CUT from my upcoming poetry book, Echoes of the Soul: Dialogues with the Past, because it was giving ✨mid✨ and I’m deep in my ruthless editor era.
BUT. It still lives rent-free in my brain like a ghost covered in potting soil, so now it’s in the Poetry Graveyard™, aka: “I will not publish this but you will look at it.”
It’s got: Plant homicide Inherited quirks Me pirouetting through generational expectations Root rot but make it metaphorical
If you’ve ever felt emotionally connected to a succulent you accidentally killed, or danced your way through inherited trauma, this one’s for you.
