OC meta under the cut

so i was writing some body horror with Zeiv, and i mean, if you want to read that, it’s here, but it might not make a ton of sense without explanation

but so zeiv is like… self sacrificing, but self sacrificing of his future, not himself. self sacrificing of ‘this me that there might be in the future.’ and i think some of that comes from the fact that death isn’t an object for him, but i also… don’t think self-sacrifice comes naturally to him, at all; and yet its a massive part of his motivations and character. i don’t know Why he’s so…. so…. desperate-to-live, yet willing-to-die, simultaneously, or even how that works, but i know it does.

he’d kill his own best friend to be alive for a year longer, but the second you threaten one (1) person he knows, he’ll throw himself into a blender to get them out of it. how does that work?? what even the hell??
