okay, so i noticed this insane reference to Skyward Sword in the Age of Imprisonment trailer today.
and no, it’s not Fi’s Theme.
here’s the reference.
here, i compared the two melodies side-by-side, in case you couldn’t pick it up from the video. insane, isn’t it?!??!?!
anyways, thanks for reading/listening!! … i wonder if i’m the first person to pick this up…. hmmm maybe!!
⭐Big news!⭐
The most basic version of the Zelda Enemies Spreadsheet is (sort of) complete! (See below for better link)
I'm still filling out some missing areas, and I'm going to add some more enemies that I skipped back when the goal was just to compare enemies in games, but it's usable in its most basic form. Unless you're looking for Hyrule Warriors or Cadence of Hyrule stuff. That's also one of the things I need to go back and fill in. But the general A-Z list of enemies and games is complete!
You should have access to commenting via the link above, so if you have additions or corrections, please leave a comment. I would appreciate it very much.
Thank you for your continued support of this big project. I hope to continue to clean it up and improve it.
FYI, the spreadsheet is best viewed on a computer. If you're on mobile, I highly suggest using the Sheets app. You should be able to filter for various games and enemy characteristics. (The characteristics are still a bit of a work in progress.)
Go! And fulfill your fanfiction, fancomic, fangame, fanart, homebrew ttrpg, etc. dreams!
Edit: I am realizing that visitors to the spreadsheet do not have access to filters unless they have permission to edit the document. This completely ruins the point of all the hard work I'm putting into this.
Due to this, the above link is a comment only version and should only be used if you really don't want to make a google account or if you have a comment to make. Click this link to make a copy of the spreadsheet so you can edit it and filter it however you please. You might have to check with me in occasionally for updates. Follow the #project zelda enemies spreadsheet tag for that. And feel free to contact me directly if something isn't working for you.
I'm a spreadsheet noob but I really want to make this work for people.
light dragon (tears of the kingdom)
spoilers for the dragon's tears questline under the cut:
The Ancient Gerudo and the Zonai
While playing Tears of the Kingdom I was struck by the choices made for the Lightning Temple, and this resulted in me going around to all the Gerudo ruins to compare what was different. I'm going to share what I collected through screenshots with you here today. Now, I do not know how to do free camera in my Switch games, and I'm not interested in attempting to mod my Switch to try, so you'll have to endure my game screenshots that will include Link just standing around. Sorry! Let's start with the ancient Gerudo ruins we have in game. Some existed in Breath of the Wild, some are new for Tears of the Kingdom. So let's explore!
"What's that in your pocket, Luke?"
"Oh, wait a moment, Professor."
Happy Luke Lukes!
Random useless post about my life
So, I'm in-between jobs right now, and have wayyyy too much time on my hands. As it stands, when I'm not taking care of my cat, running errands, doing chores, reading the news, gaming, or making intricate playlists for imaginary scenarios, I'm browsing the internet. And wouldn't you know, apart from my overly enthusiastic fanfic reading, one of my latest hyperfixations has been this little Zelda roleplaying website, that I first came across because the guy I had a crush on in high school (yep, I had crushes some 15 years or so ago; on males, no less...) was on it.
I have seldom read such deep, mature and compelling plotlines in my own language (since I mostly read fanfics in English). I've spent a few nights scanning through political intrigue, epic battles, romances and betrayals. The ironic thing is, most of the posts are from 2014-2019 and have been waiting for updates ever since. Guess I'm never gonna know what comes next. 🥲
My favourite hairstyle for her is the high ponytail, and when she lets it down I envision it to look like the style below it.
A while back, I also discovered a short style (middle right) that I thought really suited her. It's based on Harley from the White Knight comics. This is the first time I've drawn it, but you might see me play with it more in the future.
