“Let me see you, darlin’.” He uses one of his hands, fingers pressing against her clit until she’s practically seeing stars. Her orgasm hits hard. “Beautiful.” Eliot speeds up his pace, fingers tightening against her skin as he gets closer to his own release. His hips stutter and it’s only the condom between them that keeps her from feeling it completely. Eliot pulls back slightly to look at her.

Hey, Zel! Thank you so much for asking about my newest darling, Finley March. She is a Ted Lasso OC.

I made a whole introductory post about her with this ask Kass sent me for bingo, but I'll share a bit more about her with you, of course.

I love that I get to explore a topic near and dear to my heart: dealing with the aftermath of abuse. Prior to the beginning of Finley's eventual fic, she was in a physically and emotionally abusive relationship for ten years. As an emotional abuse survivor myself, it's something I'm looking forward to exploring.

I love that she lives in London and works in a pub! I consider London my adopted home, so exploring that environment and culture is so much fun. There's nothing like going down to the pub for a pint with friends and loved ones.

I love that she's kind. After everything she's been through, she still firmly believes in second chances. She's kind to everyone and will give them the benefit of the doubt within reason. She's learning to trust her instincts, and it feels refreshing to write a character who isn't so sure of her morals and doesn't always trust her own gut.

Thank you again! Apparently, I love creating OCs for obscure fandoms that no one else has OCs for.

for the ask game: landry + the washington monument in homecoming?

I think that much like MJ, Landry would not be a fan of celebrating the Washington Monument and would opt out of joining the rest of her classmates inside. The two would be exchanging random geeky facts they know until their attention diverts to the chaos. During the havoc, Spider-Man runs into her and refers her to by her name during his apology. He awkwardly tries to brush this off but Landry already knows his true identity. Hence, the ordeal simply acts as the confirmation she needed to prove Peter Parker is in fact Spider-Man.

Inside Out for the music ask game!

Lol remember when it took you like 24 hours to respond and you were like “sorry this took so long” and then I didn’t answer yours for like two weeks? Incredible. Love being in my ask box. Love over-complicating every task I do.

Anyway! When I first read this, I thought of it as “if the fic were a television show” which is how I imagine all of my fics, but also made it a lot harder because all chapters are tonally different, right? So I present to you, if Inside Out were a major motion picture.

Film Opening:

Yes, it still opens with the girls’ sleepover, which means realistically, the first song you’re hearing is the theme music for Friday the 13th as we fade in on an exterior shot of the Walcott’s house. The opening credits don’t start until the beginning of “Chapter 2: All the Right Moves.”

Opening Credits: “It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me” by Billy Joel

This is played over the typical “2000′s teen movie” montage: Christine turning off her alarm, the camera panning around her messy room full of movie posters, and then following her through Hawkins as she rides to The Hawk on her bike. The music ends super abruptly when Steve walks in and she knocks something over, haha.

Theme Song: “You May Be Right” by Billy Joel

I consider this the theme song of Inside Out the same way “Old Time Rock and Roll” is the theme of Risky Business. It’s easily one of the most iconic music-moments in the story, and the most applicable song lyrics-wise. This is the song that plays over the scene of Christine getting ready for the party at Steve’s house; cue the closet montage, sliding around the house, jumping on her bed, and showing up abrupt and drunk on Steve’s doorstep.

Closing Credits: “Famous Last Words” by Billy Joel

A little more melancholy, but still pretty upbeat! And obviously, all of the music had to be Billy Joel. I feel like this is just bittersweet enough to play as Christine leaves the Christmas box in the backyard for Eleven, not knowing if she’s alive or if she’ll ever see her again. But you gotta move on with life anyway, ya know?

Trailer: "Just a Fantasy” by Billy Joel

The argument could be made that “You May Be Right” is also the correct answer, but we love to see variety. This one was in the running for an in-movie soundtrack choice, but the lyrics don’t really line up with any of the plot. So it works great for a trailer, because there’s gonna be dialogue over most of it anyway! Also, the idea that “it’s just a fantasy / it’s not the real thing” can be applied pretty well to the general idea of having to fight an interdimensional monster using a twelve year old with telekinetic powers!

pluto + something her presence changes about canon!

oh golly so much. pluto is just the gateway to me rewriting things i didn’t like in canon lmao. here’s a few things off the top of my head: 

pluto is clint’s first kind-of sidekick/first time acting as a mentor pre-kate bishop.

pluto is one of the youngest s.h.i.e.l.d agents, albeit she never fully attended the s.h.i.e.l.d academy with the exception of a few classes and was pretty much fast-tracked into being an agent due to her relationships with fury/natasha/clint and her skill set from being trained by buckshot and then nat and clint. she was about 16/17. 

tony gets called out so much because pluto hates him (half from being raised by buckshot to not like him, half from just interacting with him) and doesn’t let him get away with shit. he should count himself lucky she disappeared in the snap because she would have torn him to shreds over that speech in endgame.

hella swearing because she swears a lot.

pluto, clint, wanda, steve, bucky, and sam have a funeral for natasha post-endgame. 

no nat talking about being ‘a monster’ because she’s sterile and referring to pluto as a kind of daughter to her/feeling like a mother to pluto.

pluto has an experimental version of the super soldier serum and steve’s whole reaction to it and how it happened to her and his guilt over being the inspiration that caused it to happen to her and others in the first place.

wanda’s entite plotline. that’s not necessarily because of pluto. that’s just me rewriting wanda. but also ~ wlw wanda ~.

wandav*sion (the show and the ship) never happens because i hate vision and wanda deserves better.

probably erasing the entirety of clint’s random, out-of-nowhere family from aou. or if i don’t then clint’s daughter lila was named after pluto (whose real name is leela).

also probably giving clint back his deafness which means pluto learns sign language.

completely reworking steve’s endgame ending. also not necessarily because of pluto, just because i hated it and it was a terribly bland and boring cookie-cutter hetero ending to his story.

also pluto probably makes a guest appearances in the hawkeye tv show, the falcon and the winter soldier show, and my reworked version of a scarlet witch tv show. also maybe the she-hulk show. 

she also probably gets her own show surrounding her post-avengers/post-endgame life, the affects of the experimental soldier serum on her, and people from her past turning up in her life (buckshot, the others from the super soldier experiment, new enemies and friends as well probably).
