Dragon Quest IV wallpapers - Zenith Dragon series
The castle in the sky, Zenithia
Loto's Armor / Zenithian Armor

New Stage: Zenithia
Name: Castle Zenithia
Universe: Dragon Quest
Game of origin: Dragon Quest IV
Company: Square-Enix
Zenithia, the castle in the sky, is probably the most iconic location in the Dragon Quest series. It plays a key role in the stories of DQ VI, V, and VI; so much so that those three games are known as the Zenithia Trilogy. The castle is home to the Zenith Dragon, serves as a form of mobile transportation to the party in V, and [DQVI spoiler alert] is even fought as a boss in the sixth game, under the name 'Stormsgate Citadel'. ... Which is also apparently a monster you can obtain in DQ Monsters Joker 2!? That's pretty cool... (I just learned of this) [End Spoilers] There really isn't much more to say about this Stage. The iconic nature of the castle plus the general layout of the castle's exterior serve as the main reasons for its inclusion. No hazards, no wonky gimmicks, just a good, solid location to fight on. Maybe the background could have cameo appearances of some of the party members from other DQ games (especially the Zenithia trilogy), and the Zenith Dragon could be seen flying around the castle occasionally. Here's a better view of the castle, ripped from one of the SNES games.
Musical selections for this stage are as follows:
The Dragon Quest Overture (every Dragon Quest game ever) [I would probably die of excitement if I ever got to fight an SSB match to this music]
Violent Enemies ~ The Almighty Boss Devil is Challenged (orchestra remix of the battle theme and boss theme from Dragon Quest V)
Dragonlord (Dragon Quest/Dragon Warrior)
The True Evil (Dragon Quest/Warrior II)
Adventure (DQ/W III)
The Wagon Wheel's March (Dragon Quest IV)
In the Town (Dragon Quest VI)
Cursed Towers (Dragon Quest IV)
March of the Capricious Princess [Alena's theme] (Dragon Quest IV)
