#he never got to meet him again - i lost my whole mind the other day when i was looking up pedro's age and when that flashback happens meaning zepo died only 5 years ago?? law baby take MY heart out so i can toss it in the trash i dont need it - its broken by the thought that bepo had been sailing for several years while zepo was still out and about. imagine 17 year old bepo seeing his brother again after so many years?

I also tried to calculate the ages, given the whole Big Mom thing of taking what was left of their life from Pedro and Zepo, and Zepo's life span basically being used up, so, to my calculations he was a LOT older than Bepo. But I might be misunderstanding Big Mom's powers (I remember that the anime made it clearer, but I'm fuzzy). An, yeah, I didn't think that Zepo had died so recently. I was thinking it was further back. Thing is, Bepo probably didn't know that Zepo had died until they reached Zou, right? Although, obviously they could have crossed paths with Minks from time to time.

Today I am writing a long theory about the polar bear Mink and second in command of the Heart Crew. I'm talking of course about Bepo and the fact that he will soon have his moment of glory.

It's been several times that Oda teases us this character by brief appearances in recent chapters but without really focusing on his situation. And we can also notice that he didn't have any real fight since his appearance so that we can have an idea of his skills (physical and psychological), unlike Zoro and Killer, while he is the second of Trafalgar D Water Law. That we don't present anymore.

His strength is not to be neglected or underestimated if we recapitulate his record of achievement, which is linked to the rest of the Heart Crew (what we have seen or understood so far):

- Traveling in North Blue, which has some notorious characters, and reaching Sabaody Archipelago

- Confront a Pacifista with the Heart Pirates and Kid Pirates. Then get out alive

- Survive to Zoo without his captain (who stayed in Punk Hazard) 

- Match the Beast Pirates on Zoo for several days. Knowing that without the poison gas, he could have continued to fight. Same thing for the Heart Pirates and the Zoo fighters

- And now Onigashima where he fights against the Gifters and the Pleasures which are very powerful (Zoro says it himself, it's hard to beat them)

Also, let's not forget that Bepo is a warrior born as a Mink. Even if we can forget this fact because of his bad habit to apologize all the time. He also has the Sulong and the Electro, even if he doesn't use them. And I'm sure he trained on Zoo with the other Minks during the ellipse, because Bepo is not the kind of pirate who wants to be a burden to the crew and his captain.

After the intro, the development.

Bepo is indirectly linked to a Yonko, the one his captain is facing right now on Onigashima. I'm talking of course about Big Mom.

Let's go back in time. As you know, Pedro formed his crew to sail to the New World. The crew was captured by the Big Mom Pirates and Pedro lost his eye while playing roulette. But he's not the only one to lose feathers (or hairs) in this story. Pekoms also went one-eyed and then joined BM. Finally, we have Zepo, Bepo's older brother, who lost his life after Linlin took his life expectancy (100 years if I remember correctly).

We know the rest: Bepo leaves Zoo to find his big brother, he gets lost, meets Shashi, Penguin and Law with whom he forms the Heart Crew.

And I am sure that since his return to Zoo, Bepo knows the truth about Zepo's death. Because thanks to Pedro, he knows what really happened during the Nox Crew's journey.

This is where my theory comes in: Big Mom vs Bepo.

So yes read like this, it may sound burlesque but not impossible. Let me explain:

Kid and Law are literally exhausted from their fight against the Empress Big Mom who is resisting their assaults well. She still has a lot of stamina and fights with her homies, which makes it far from a 2vs1.

I also add that the situation on Onigashima is not the same anymore. Fighting doesn't matter anymore, it's about surviving in front of the fire which ravages Kaido's palace. We must be quick, time is short.

If one remains in this thought, Bepo could look for his captain, worrying about his state. He would then see Law, collapsed on the ground with Kid. Not necessarily defeated but in a bad state. Big Mom's attention would then shift to Bepo, noting the similarity between him and another Mink bear with sunglasses, while taking pride in the killing of Zepo.

Filled with rage and sadness, and with the will to protect his captain, Bepo would look at the full moon that he fears so much, which is why he always bows his head. He would then take his Sulong form and, with Electro, fight Big Mom to let out his rage, even managing to stand up to her.

But still young and inexperienced, Bepo would become weaker and weaker, but with his Berseker state causing him to lose his mind, he would lose control, allowing Big Mom to regain the advantage. A brutal and unexpected confrontation that would show, like Chopper, that Bepo is not to be underestimated despite his low Bounty and cute appearance.

And with that, maybe we would get a flashback to the Heart Crew.

But because I don't think that Big Mom will be defeated on Onigashima, because her story must end on Elbaf, the land of the giants, Bepo's transformation will essentially aim at proving that the power of our favorite Mink has nothing to envy to that of his congeners, while being a pretext to keep the Yonko and her crew away from Onigashima and from Wano.
