Ambushed? Has anyone taught Cris how to fight? I’m glad everyone survived though? Have you checked up on the others to see how they are doing? Maybe you can get them to save you the effort and check your morale officer since I don’t think she is right in the head. Humans need time for physical hurts but their mental and emotional health factors heavily into healing.
Yes ambushed! Those vile MECH humans have been running around unchecked for some time it seems. And yes, I have been teaching Kris how to fight. Everyone in Vos is learning how to fight, including how to fight in teams.
As for the other two, I went to the medbay after I dealt with Kris, and commended Apollo on rescuing his team. By then Ares was awake and I debriefed them both. I haven't checked on them since. Why would I? My medical staff cleared them for duty since they were merely hit with an EMP, and they've returned to patrols. It would be highly irregular for me to have them handle Kris's recovery, since they are not medics, but nothing is stopping them from spending time with her.
Me: * is sobbing in my mother's lap*
My mother: "You do realise it's just your hormones, on-going illness you've been suffering from over a month and a half, sleep-deprivation and recent on-going stress all coming to a culmination together, right? You've got no real, rational reason to be sad."
My dad: *Serves me a drink laced with Valerianka* "Drink it. Now."
