Some sketches I forgot to publish
I'm gonna do it. I'm finally gonna do a complete watchthrough of the entire DCAU.
The DCAU has a show nobody talks about: The Zeta Project. I only just watched an episode tonight, and now I wish it had been more popular. A robot trying to earn emancipation and freedom from life as a killer...that's an amazing concept. I love robots. Red Tornado and The Vision are some of the best comic characters ever. The loneliness of being something inhuman, yet also not being robotic as everyone expects you to be...I feel like I can understand androids a little too well. A revival of this show could probably do quite well. I don't much care for the ties to Batman Beyond, but I appreciate that we have a runaway robot travelling the future united states fighting against the military industrial complex. Bonus points for Diedrich Bader voicing Zeta. The animation may look very cheap when compared to something like Superman the Animated Series, but the show seems like it had a lot of potential. Untapped potential that nobody ever managed to use correctly. It's a shame.

The Zeta Project is Deviant the Renegades
So like another robot human pairing aside from Razer and Aya, I remembered another one.
Issac and Claire from Orville.
Now I can imagine Zee and Ro's wedding.
That from the start since they met, he was always her home.
Gonna get started on that fic... :3

The Zeta Project
Spinning off from Batman Beyond, The Zeta Project was an animated series that debuted in January of 2001 and ran for two seasons.
It tells the tale of Infiltration Unit Zeta, a sophisticated android built by the National Security Agency to eliminate enemy targets. Equipped with an advanced holographic module, the unit could alter its appearance, take on the guise of a target and infiltrate enemy organizations.
On one mission, Unit Zeta discovered the man he was tasked to kill was innocent. This caused a moral quandary that resulted in Zeta’s artificial intelligence achieving full sentience. The unit chose not to follow through on the mission; which led to the NSA surmising the android had gone rogue or had been reprogrammed by a terrorist cell. As such, operatives were dispatched to retrieve or destroy Zeta, stopping at nothing to fulfill their mission.
On the run from the National Security Agency, Zeta was joined by Rosalie 'Ro' Rowan, a sarcastic, street-smart runaway searching for her family. With Ro's help, 'Zee' came to learn that his only chance for freedom is to find his creator, Doctor Eli Selig.
Created by Robert Goodman, The Zeta Project featured the voice cast of Diedrich Bader as Zeta, with Julie Nathanson, Kurtwood Smith, Michael Rosenbaum and Lauren Tom in supporting roles.
Warmup - Zeta Project.
