The thing is, the more conservative and squeezed of its resources by the global north a country is, the less you hear of its trans men, transmascs, and nonbinary people. The less you hear of its intersex people (unless as fetish or sensationalized clickbait). Those groups are being killed, forcibly de-transitioned, sexually assaulted, forced into marriages, mutilated by non-consensual surgeries, all at rates the average western "theorizers" on tumblr dot hell couldn't possibly wrap their minds around, especially if they are not a recent migrant. They are likely live brief and painful lives.

But it is so rare that I see any advocacy for my siblings in those areas. In fact, the fact that they live there seem to be used as a point against them more often, as if by being born in a country was not an event they had no choice in, but a deliberate action made so they join an oppressive regime. as if they are not oppressed by the forces which makes their country distasteful to those in the global north.
