part of me does want to watch the game tonight because i have fond memories of buying exclusively german food and beer at our local tesco before a germany v england match years ago, having several people pass us know what we were doing and laughing (including the cashier), and getting day-drunk watching germany absolutely wreck england
but i have otherwise broadly not given much of a shit about football apart from the old-firm-assigned-at-birth matches from a safe distance
and i cant get day-drunk at 2am
and i just know Scotland's gonnae get absolutely fuckin pumped.
this is the back of the bass btw. part of me wants to leave it as-is because it's very funny. but also. i would like to add my own stickers. none of which shall be oasis.

got Statler and Waldorf'd by 2 older ladies today
got in the lift carrying my new bass and one went, 'you gonnae play us a tune on the way down?' and got chatting about how their family in Shetland used to play instruments, and those who didn't had to learn to tell stories
then i held the door open for them and one went 'aw he's gonnae want a tip now'
the other went, 'here's my tip; play louder!' and walked off laughing
