ZKAUBA THEORY

In ‘Through the Gates of the Silver Key’ how do you think Carter plans to separate himself from Zkauba and get his human body back?

I mean, Carter arrives to Earth with Zkauba‘s appearance, but what has become of his original body? Is he still asleep somewhere? Is he physically trapped in the 4th dimension like Gilman? Or is he dead?
