I’ve seen a few good posts about it but like, yeah

idk it’s irresponsible to not note how a TON of people aren’t “born that way” when it comes to sexuality and that the “naturally gay/ace/pan/etc” argument relies on biological essentialism in the first place

sexuality can be formed and influenced through choice or through trauma or through neurodivergency and that’s...not....bad.

Eta: like seriously I can not believe this u literally take issue with me saying “please don’t sexualize me”??? You literally worded it that way?? because on my own post based on my own experiences in a certain context I did not also say “please don’t desexualize” me and so I’m only showing “my own side” wtf??? It’s extra bullshit-y bc I actually have made posts about that too regarding specific issues (like saying asexuality+aromanticism r not inherently desexualizing and that it’s gross to act like my orientation desexualizes me)
