In order of brightness:
Regulus (α Leonis) is the brightest star in Leo, a quadruple star system about 80 light years away. The dominant star in the system is a blue giant star. The name comes from the Latin word Rēgulus meaning "prince."
Denebola (β Leonis) is a solitary blue-white giant star about 36 light years from the Sun. It is a variable star as well, varying in brightness over a few hours. Its name comes from the Arabic phrase ðanab al-asad meaning "tail of the lion."
Algieba (γ Leonis) is a binary star system consisting of two red giants. The system lies about 130 light years away. The name comes from the Arabic word Al-Jabhah meaning "the forehead," although Algieba appears in the lion's mane.
Zosma (δ Leonis) is a blue-white solitary star about 60 light years from Earth. Its name comes from the Ancient Greek word meaning "girdle," referring to its location in the hip of the lion.
ε Leonis is a yellow giant star about 250 light years away.
Chertan (θ Leonis) is a solitary blue-white giant star about 165 light years away. Its name comes from the Arabic word al-kharātān meaning "two small ribs."
η Leonis is a solitary blue supergiant star about 1,270 light years away.
Subra (o Leonis) is a binary star system consisting of a yellow-white giant star and a blue-white star about 133 light years away. The name comes from the Arabic word zubra meaning "upper park of the back."
Shaomin (ρ Leonis) is a solitary blue supergiant star about 2,900 light years away. Its name comes from the Chinese word 少民 meaning "less bright" compared to Subra, which had the name Taimin (太民) meaning "more bright."
Rasalas (μ Leonis) is a solitary red giant star about 124 light years from Earth. Its name comes from the Arabic phrase Ras al Asad al Shamaliyy meaning "northern star of the lion's head."
ι Leonis is a quadruple star system consisting of several white giant stars about 79 light years away.
σ Leonis is a blue-white giant star about 210 light years away.
Alterf (λ Leonis) is an orange giant star about 330 light years away. Its name comes from the Arabic word aṭ-ṭarf meaning "the view (of the lion)," marking its position as the eye of Leo.
Yunü (31 Leonis) is a binary star system with a red giant star dominating the system. It lies about 296 light years away. The name comes from the Chinese word 御女 meaning a lower-ranking concubine of the emperor.
60 Leonis is a solitary blue-white star about 127 light years away.
κ Leonis is a orange giant star about 200 light years away.
This is focused on aroace characters because I don't have enough aroallos.
So I say a picture of an aroace rainbow and that made me realize that the aroace flag looks exactly like the colors of a blackbody at increasing temperatures. Each character is a star oc and there is one for each of the seven main spectral (color and temperature) types of stars.
Mercury rules communication, technology, contracts, truth and travel. This event is know for when Mercury emits vibrations that can cause a spur of change or effect ones deeper/inner knowing. They say the planet goes retrograde, because it appears as if it’s going backwards in the sky. During this time, astrologers see this as a “trouble maker planet.”
The funny thing about this phenomenon is that, yes it does, affect everyone. Around this time you will see the life of yours and others take a surprise turn. This is absolutely not the time to start a new job, travel, close on a contract, interventions, etc. This is an event that truly messes with everyone.
Be cautious about how you take news that others give you( and how you say things to them), maybe think twice about going a great distance from home. Ideally, this is not the time to start anything new.
Well this is going to be an interesting one. Mercury is about to retrograde back into Leo. This is going to go right into the star on the lion’s back, Zosma. What will this bring? Lying, jealousy, nasty words, scandal and deceit. Mercury is in opposite of Neptune right now which will reinforce all of these horrible things.
The Mercury and Venus sextile will help aid this. With these two in sextile, words of caring and compromise will emerge. However it doesn't mean this will be enough.
Venus is also at trine with Neptune, allowing compassion, empathy and forgiveness. This will also be on your side.
Overall, for those of us who are in relationships, this may be a rocky time. Secrets of betrayal, backstabbing and cheating will be coming out. Even with the Mercury/Venus sextile and the Neptune/Venus trine, this still may not be enough. You will have to open a whole new perspective to open communication, empathy and forgiveness to make it through this retrograde.
