This dunya is not worth planting your roots in. So forgive easily, love deeply, and remain unbothered by its pains

What did the Prophet ‏ﷺ and his family eat?

Their lives of Zuhd was truly exemplary. If only we can try decrease our food consumption and instead share with the poor.

It is reported that Imam Jaafar al-Sadiq (as) asked:

Oh my dear companions, why do you go searching for something that does not exist? That is impossible to secure?

They asked what the Imam (as) was referring to.

He replied: Absolute comfort in this life.

It is reported that Imam Ali ibn Abu Talib (as) said:

“What makes my brothers big in my eyes is the smallness of the world in their eyes.”
