Laurence Zvhal - Forever

**A/N pretend Laurence is on Starlight with everyone else

You knew about Aaron. You knew about the events of the Lodge, and you knew what he was. Which was why you got scared when he said he saw Ein.

You saw Garroth heading for Aaron, and tackled him down. He couldn't look into Aaron's eyes. But unfortunately, you did.

You screamed in pain as you landed atop of Garroth. Aaron's eyes immediately returned to black when he realized what he'd done. "y/n!" he said as his eyes widened.

Laurence ran over to you and plopped down beside you. "y/n!" he said. Worry was evident in his blue eyes, which tears were threatening to spill out of.

Aaron ran over to you. "y/n I'm sorry-!"

"Get away from her!" Derek, his father, yelled furiously. "We're taking her back to the house. You stay in the back and think about what you've done!"

The walk back to the house was agonizing. Every movement was agonizing. You eventually had to ball your first to avoid punching Laurence, who carried you bridal-style all the way back to the house.

Once you arrived there, you didn't see Laurence again until after Daniel's Mom had seen you.

He entered the room slowly, and you noticed all the tearstains on his face. You'd never seen him cry before. He was always your flirty, laughing, Casanova. But not this time.

He sat down next to your bed, and one of his tears fell onto your hand. "y/n... You can't die on me." He gently took your hand. "There's so much you haven't done yet." He got slightly blurrier as he spoke. You knew that if you survived the situation, you'd be a blind werewolf.

"We never got to adopt a puppy, like we've been talking about. You never got to achieve your dreams."

You looked up at him. He was so beautiful. You wanted to imprint his face in your mind forever, so you could remember it when you couldn't see it anymore. "You are..." You had to pause to wince before continuing, "My dream..."

Another tear fell from his eye and landed on you, but you didn't feel it. You didn't feel Laurence's hand, either.

You'd lost your sense of touch.

A tear of your own slipped out of your eye as the realization hit you. You couldn't feel anything. You'd never feel anything again.

"I never got to propose to you." He gave you a sad smile. "Garroth and I have been planning it since we got to Starlight. I was going to do it on Wonderland." He squeezed your hand - at least, you thought he did. You couldn't feel it, and you could hardly see it.

You heard the door open, but when you turned your head everything went black.

Your sense of sight was gone.

"y/n..." You'd recognize Aaron's voice anywhere. After he stated dating Aphmau and opened up, you guys became close friends. "y/n I'm so sorry..."

You wished you could've looked at him. "Don't..."

"You're dying, and it's my fault." You heard footsteps.

"Get away from her," Laurence said.

"This is as close as I'll get."

"I...can't...see..."

You heard Laurence let out a quiet cry. "y/n... Can I... Can I kiss you one last time...?"

You slowly nodded your head and sat there in wait, but it never came.

"I love you," Laurence whispered. He sounded so close to you, yet so far away.

"Where are you?"

"I'm right next to you... I just kissed you."

Your heart broke. Usually, you could taste whatever Laurence has eaten last whenhe kissed you. But you couldn't.

You lost your sense of taste.

You turned your head towards where you thought Laurence was, and realized you couldn't smell his cologne. He always put on too much so it was hard not to smell it, but you couldn't smell it at all.

You'd lost your sense of smell.

All you had left is your hearing. The pain had stopped, though.

"Laurence..." You said quietly. "I'm losing... My senses."

A pause. "I can tell."

"I want... The last thing I hear... To be... 'I love you'."

"I love you so much, y/n."

"This is all my fault..." Aaron said.

You shook your head. "I forgot about... What you could... Do..." You took a deep breath, as it was getting more and more difficult to breathe. "Laurence... Keep..."

"Shh, save your strength. I love you." He repeathed the three words over and over, like a mantra. Eventually it started to get quieter, and quieter, and quieter, until eventually you couldn't hear him at all.

You'd lost your sense of hearing.

You were having a harder time breathing. You took a deep breath, and knew you only had one more in you. "Aaron do not blame yourself, I did this to myself. I saved Garroth." You took your final breath, and a white light appeared. "Laurence... I don't have enough time to say goodbye. Thank you, I love you." At least, that's how you hoped it came out. You couldn't hear it. You released the breath and floated towards the whiteness.

3rd Person

Laurence shook his gead as the heart monitor stopped beeping. "No," he said quietly, several tears streaming down his face. "No, no, not yet. We never got the puppy. You never achieved your dreams. I never proposed. You can't be gone."

Aaron had tears in his eyes as he said, "Laurence, I-"

Laurence cut him off. "Just leave me alone, Aaron."

Aaron nodded, understanding. He was beside hinself with guilt. Besides Aphmau, he'd never been as close to someone as he had to y/n. But she was gone, and it was all his fault.

He left the room, leaving Laurence alone.

Laurence hugged your lifeless body as he let out a loud cry. He didn't care about hiding it. The love of his life just died in one of the worst ways imagonable. She lost all her senses, until she finally lost herself.

He kissed y/n's lips gently one last time as the door opened.

"Laurence," Daniel's Mom said. "I need you to step out for a moment."

Laurence let out another cry. He didn't want to leave her, but he understood. He slowly dragged himself outside of the room, where Garroth was waiting for him.

"Laurence..." said his best friend.

Laurence looked at the blond. "She did this for you, Garroth. Go enjoy it."

He shook his head. "The crime causing trio... It's just a duo now. I'm not gonna enjoy when one of my closest friends just died, especially not if it was because of me." He looked at Laurence, nd slowly hugged him. "I'm sorry, Laurence."

Laurence sniffled but hugged his best friend. "T-Thank you, G-Garroth... B-But I-I really just w-wanna be alone right n-now..."

Garroth nodded slowly and released his best friend. "I understand. Call me if you need anything."

Laurence's eyes glazed over in tears. "I need y/n."

Garroth sighed. "I know..."

Laurence walked out of the house. He went down to the beach, and looked off in the distance. He saw a boat: the one they were supposed to get on the next day. He touched his pocket, gripped the small black box he'd been keeping on his person. It would've only been one more day, then she would've been his forever. He had no doubts she would've said yes.

"I love you, y/n," he said as he looked up to the sky and put the box back in his pocket. "Forever."
