#Ru and #Zyggy still wanted to share their photos in party hats, because if they had to endure such a ridiculous thing it should be shared. I had a lovely birthday, thank you everyone. This week I'm hoping to play more catchup with emails, the website, and get some sewing done now we have a table and some other surfaces. We also have plenty of delicious fresh fruit to enjoy and some beans from the garden. Hams have been enjoying Ontario strawberries, apricots and peaches. It's miss #Zyggy! Zyggy and Ru clearly collaborated as Zyggy was pregnant but reabsorbed her litter which was a bummer. She's doing just fine though which is the important part! We do have some good news to share soon though and despite my golden girls not cooperating right now we have plenty of litters lined up for the spring. While I'm a bit slow replying to applications at the moment, now is an otherwise good time to join it as it is a bit shorter than usual so will be less of a wait. Congratulations to our November #Hamsterofthemonth winners, #Zyggy and #Ru and #Rivet! This month we had two very nice momma's and one very rude patient. Thankfully Rivet's booboo is all healed up. I've been a busy bee today. We did all our errands (Hamdad and I enjoy our weekly trips to Farm Boy where we stock up on microgreens and kale for the hammies and goodies for humans), I answered all our emails and applications. Almost all the puppos have lined up homes (we have humans just gotta play matchy matchy for the last ones!). I'll be making take home packages and snuggle sacks and all the fun stuff we need to go home with our babies. It's important to me we set them and their new owners up for success. Then I cleaned out the Spice Pups, cleaned out the Hero Pups pee swamps, and organized some of the basement items. I cleaned two bins we had down there, dismantled some things, began sanitizing some bins and washing some toys. We have some wheels to mend and bins to finish and I have about 40kg of mix that needs mixing before my babies head to new homes. It's a bit of a crazy time but that's the holidays for you! Tomorrow we are going on an adventure again, and I'm hoping to start working on the take home packages, get some bins and wheels fixed, and all the in between things. Hamstering never ends 🤣 and on top of that my work is very busy (I work full time and my days don't end until 7pm most days).
