Imagine Grace, Rocky, Simon on Grace's ship. Grace hasn't slept. Can't until he's got a cure. The whispers aren't helping either. Rocky sleeps nearby. Grace feels his friend like an extra limb. A bad sign, but fascinating, for there are many sensations in the act of being Rocky that Grace has no equivalent senses for. He's almost grateful. "Go to sleep," Simon insists. "Have to find a cure." "Can't find a cure if you can't think," Simon mutters, lifting him. "Hey!" Grace yells. "I wasn't done!" "You're done." "I have to watch Rocky sleep!" Simon fireman carries him to the bunks, then back with bedding, before dropping him into the pile. "I'll watch you both. Sleep." "Can't." Grace rubs his face. "Thoughts are all over the place." Simon lowers, frowning at arm bandages. "What's this?" Grace yawns. "Tissue samples." "Take from me," Simon pleads. "No." "Yes," Simon sighs, pulling Grace into his lap. "No," Grace whispers, settling against Simon's chest. "Yes." "…" Simon smiles as Grace starts snoring. "I win."

anxiety projection -> emotion projection?

this ones a little inspired by netwa's answer . itd deffo be good for interrogation !!! especies with the thought of infume being able to read emotions when touching the person . its very cool methinks ... BUT ALSOO LIKEE i want him and hax to fight and if hes just used for interrogation thatd be hard to dooo <- more thoughts about this power . it rly could be interesting if infume was unintentionally influenced by hax's emotions . like the force of hax waning infume to Trust him makes infume trust him . Guh

fire/heat -> manipulation of energy

ok so like OBVIOUSLY the contrast with hax's snow/ice . but like honestly i didnt rly fw it much until the image of infume getting flustered and the air heating up around him appeared in my mind . BUT. then i remembered fyroah exists and hes obvioously getting fire SO like . energy manipulation ?? not like fatigue but literally the manipulation of atoms energy . that power probably has so much potential im not seeing actually . <- also heat powers to warm clothes .. guy gets cold easily ..
