Why would you go to a Forest at 3 am?

“Are you sure that it is a good idea to go to a forest at 3 am?” Max asked someone.
“Not sure… But no try, no risk!” Elia Said with a genuine smile on her face.
4 regular college students were standing above a map of their precious and interesting college.
Mia, Max, Elia and Celeste.. A friend group with their own skeletons in the closet.
Mia is a blonde and definitely not nerd looking girl with freckles, wearing pink t-shirt and white shorts.. a nerd who likes anything but college, marine life, space, time, dinosaurs, true crime.. if you are going to ask her about anything that is not school she wont shut up until she will lack facts.. Which is never.. Studying in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
Max is an black haired boy wearing black-blue jacket and fine black jeans. An artist, 3d artist and overall artistic person. Want a portrait of yourself? he will draw! Want animal art for your project? No problem! Max is ready for anything! Want pregnant furry in diapers vore someone? That is under a question but if you’ll pay him he will draw it! Max is studying in the Faculty of Fine Arts.
Elia is the weirdest amongst those guys, purple harried gal with purple witchy dress and with hat.. she is into mythology, D&D, and anything that is slightly fantasy like.. For some reason her favorite creatures are giants.. although in myths those dudes are the most fearsome… And cruel… Elia is also really good at D&D so if you’ll ask her to do a d&d session it’s going to be the best one in your life.. but don’t even dare to think there not going to be giants.. they are going to be.. And most of them will be gentle.. Elie learns at the Faculty of Philosophy.
And Celeste, wearing green Grunge style cloth and having short fluffy brown hair she is.. the most normal and weird one at the same time, they like anything.. starting with cozy stuff like plushies, ponies, slime rancher and ending at the most bizarre things like Doom, Tarot, guns, goth, and all like that… Musician and artist, Although not better than Max at art, she has been playing saxophone for 11 years already! She is studying at the Faculty of Music.
So why do such different people decide to come around and go to a forest?.. Because of Elia! This was sooo unexpected! (it wasn’t)
“Hey, maybe we should not? It is… dangerous out there? there were countless times people went and never came back!” Mia anxiously said, holding a book of something.. about what was this book? No one cared.
“Ngh.. Come on lil fearling! THE government said do NOT go to a forest.. What if there is a giant roaming? we-” Elia started with excitement but someone interrupted her
“Ugh… Stop Elia” Celeste cutted Elia’s yap with an irritated voice “We are TIRED from your shit.. Giants.. Giants..”
“Aww.. Cutie.. Hehe” Elia said with a coquettish smile.
Celeste made an angry face… She doesn't like it when someone calls her a cutie.
“Umm.. Oke.. What if there IS some creature that you should see? Isn't the college staff saying no walking from 11 pm?” Max said while holding his hands crossing on the chest
“Phhff… Fuck ‘em, we are adults! remember?” Elia said with a proud face "we can go anywhere!"
Everyone, except for Elia, looked at each other with concerned faces
"Why are we even talking with Elia?" Mia whispered to her companions.
"She is good at D&D and we all like D&D!" Celeste whispered back
"Why are you whispering? a??" Elia asked with little aggression
"We are talking about how this plan sucks." Max answered Elia.
"Ahh... I need to do everything.." Elia sighed with bit of tiredness and came to a group of whispers (against Elia)
"You will be a paladin!" Elia said to Max and booped his nose “You will protect us if what!”
“Why me yo-” Max started arguing but Elia silenced him
“You will be an operator!” Elia booped Mia’s nose “will record if we will find scary creatures!”
And finally Elia came to Celeste… Elia put a hand on Celeste’s shoulder and said “and you are an explorer.. You will be the first one to see those creatures."
“Yo, why me? Why not you, douchebag?” Celeste asked with a little curiosity and fear.. maybe with fear..
“Well.. Because I am the one who decided to drag y’all to a forest.. So I am a leader!” Elia made a proud pose which literally told the rest of the group that “I’ll drag to hell”
“You are a terrible leader.” Celeste stated the fact. ”I would be better”
“Don’t make yourself the only option!” Elia said with little jealousy “Let everyone else be a leader.. Maybe I'll be even better than you.”
Celeste didn’t take that statement seriously.. Her ego wasn’t too fragile to start telling everyone why she is the only good leader.. Unlike Elia who is the most ego-fragile person in this room..
“Well.. Let’s go then! We have plenty of things to do!” Elia told a group and went to a door out of the room.. And group needs to go with her just so Elia will not be mad and stop playing D&D with them
1 am.. Cold corridors of old college with books, medal stands, posters that you will succeed and.. overall quite a learning spirit.. And 4 people quietly walked past the guard so that they could go to a forest.. After they exited a college building they went straight to a place of fear and danger.. Big, mossy forest.. with creatures starting from deers and rabbits.. and ending bears and wolves.
“We are here! my folks.” Elia said with a proud grin on her face “THE forest!”
But there was no smile, no sounds.. only awkward silence.. almost tired silence.. Since everyone except Elia wanted to sleep..
“Cool..” Celeste said in a kind of sarcastic way “Now can we go to sleep?”
“Ugh..” Elia made an annoyed sound and turned toward Celeste "Why are you ALWAYS against things i do?"
"They are dumb.. And dangerous.." Celest calmly confessed
"And? Is this the only reason you hate me?"
"Me? i don't hate you," Celest told Elia "i just think straight unlike you.. It's almost like you live in your own dream world.."
"Whatever.." Elia turned away from Celeste and said to the rest of the group "We are going to a forest, and no 'but'."
and everyone went to a forest.. but not everyone wanted to.
It was loud and the owl was howling.. Bugs cricked.. And sounds of walking were heard.
"Well.. I never saw forest at night in real life.." Mia weakly said while holding camera and flashlight
"Mm.. Yep Yep! it is so beautiful... AND CREEPY!" Elia jumpscared her friend group
"Mhm.. let's go further…." Max said with.. No feeling..
Elia was upset friends didn't get scared so she just continued to walk.
After some time they heard a a sound.. is sound like THUMB.. it was so loud and so.. scary that it made group scared.. especially Elia
“Wo-oah.. is this a giant?.. OR..” she stood up without a fear.. “A dragon!”
Celeste, as the only one who didn't faint from fear, walked further.. as well as all of the group.. And that made Elia more and more jealous and scared of her
after some time someone spoke:
"Oh.. y'all know what? I want to pee pee.. Wait for me.." Max said and went behind a tree
"mmm.. Me too.." Mia said walking away
there was only Elia and Celest..
"Well.. want to go have some time alone too? Or..."
"I want to tell you something.." Elia confessed to Celeste while moving towards her.
"What exactly?.." Celeste quietly asked Elia, while moving backwards..
"You are the person I want to be.. Strong, Smart... Leader....." Elia continued with a little anger on her face "And EVERYONE wants to follow YOU... After you came to this college people followed you... instead of ME.."
Finally.. They reached the end of the ground they were standing on.. Nothing was beyond.. Only cliff.. Fall down.. And perhaps.. Death
"I am jealous of you! you are better than me.. I wanted to be a couple.. like.. Ying and Yang... Like king and slave but.. You-" Elia grabbed Celeste by her cloth "You simply are not what i am looking for."
"What? It's all your fault we are not together!-" Celeste started to tell her but Elia threw Celeste off the cliff.

'We were a couple a few months ago.. Me and Elia.. Elia and me..
We had common interests.. common dots of.. touch
We wore the same things, played games.. I tried to fall into every interest that Elia had.. But Elia never told anyone we were a couple.. Every private interaction was made by me.. and the only interaction that was made by Elia was in public.. But in her words there were no.. Feelings.. like she just talked to me because I wanted to.. Or she just kept me on the leash of.. Attention.
After I left the common group she started ignoring me.. I tried to talk with her.. tried to make art of her.. But she blocked me…. And I didn't know why.. Why? Why did she block me? But the problem was different.. Not in that she blocked me or.. ignored me.. I knew she had feelings for me.. That she is.. Obsessed with me? But I never heard those.. Magical.. 3 words... "I love you"..
Instead Elia wrote fanfics about giant men and small girls in trouble.. At first.. Knowing the context I enjoyed it.. But after a while it was just another shit.. Over and Over again.. And the only thing I wanted is for her to at least unblock me.. Not text me.. Not make a gift for me.. Unblock me.. But it will never happen.. Unless will become more cold towards her.. I tried.. I really did.. But her stories are ones I like.. I liked stories about giants and tinies and that played against me
After i befriended Mia she told me she is friends with Elia and that's how i started to talk with Eila again.. I didn’t expect love from this person.. Only fear and jealousity.. We will never be friends, nor couple, nor frenemies.. Perhaps frenemies but i expected be enemies or people who know each other.. She just wants to own me.. Not be friends like i wanted
And now.. She threw me off the cliff.. I.. To be honest.. Expected that.'
Celeste didn't wake up after that fall... But she didn't die.. she fell on bushes.. and she had a broken leg.. A bear came to her body.. since she didn't move.. Or.. Even looked alive.. Bear left
Max and Mia came back from rest tree time but they didn't see Celeste.. Only Elia
"Hey.. Elia" Mia weakly started "... Where is Celeste?"
"Oh!” Elia exclaimed, like she waited for this question "She.. She left! I don't know where she is now but.. Yeah! Only 3 of us now!" Elia told them with smile on her face
"Um.. Well" Max started "i'll call her-"
"Uhm.. There is no connection! I already tried.." Elia said with sadness on her face.. Is this sadness.. Genuine?..
"Oh.. Well.. maybe we will find her? And will we go together to campus?" Max suggested
"We didn't done!" Elia told Max with a little annoyance in her voice "we STILL didn't find a giant!"
“But giants don’t exist! don’t you know.. Or… Are you hallucinating?” Mia asked Elia with concern but Elia just went away to continue her way.
"She is.. Weird.." Mia whispered to Max "I feel like something is off"
"Really?" Max whispered back "Only now understood?"
Celeste Woke up.. Twilight forest.. And bright stars in the sky.. They look like.. Hope.
Celeste got up and felt how her right leg cried with pain..
"Well.. That's sucks" Celeste said with a rusty, calm voice, cleared her throat and walked towards.. Something.
She didn’t know where the dorm was.. Where is her college.. She tried to find a river.. To look how awful she looked after that fall.. Her leg cried each time she stepped on it.
After some time she found a river.. She looked at it and saw that her hair was tangled and messier than her base minimum and the cloth looked dirty and awfully torned..
“Perhaps.. There are ticks on me.. Ugh..” quietly said Cel.. She started washing her face and got naked to wash herself from ticks and all of that but suddenly she heard a scream.. Almost a human one.. But deep.. Scary and.. Loud.. Almost.. Animalistic
‘Holy wata fucka..’ Celeste thought.. but that didn’t stop her from diving into the river water.. to get a little freshy.
“Aha! HERE!” Elia exclaimed and pointed at a foot step.. Gigantic one..
“I told ya! We will find something!” Elia pointed at a footprint and Max with Mia looked at it. This footprint was deep and fresh.
"Hmm.. looks fresh.' Mia said while examining this
"Well.. We found what we needed.. Can we go back?" Max asked with genuine hope
"Hmm.." Elia hummed "Alright.. Let's go home.. I'm tired.."
"I hope we will meet Celeste there!" Mia exclaimed with happiness and hope
Elia made a weird smile and mumbled "Yeah.. Me too.."
Celeste, after a cold bath put a cloth on and went near a river knowing soon that she will get to a town..
Her phone was working but it didn't catch any signal.. And soon it will die
She walked.. walked.. Until she caught someone staring at her..
Celeste turned towards a creature which was staring at her and.. Holy molly.
It was a giant.. A real one.
After that anyone will be scared.. So she ran next to a river, and Giant ran after her.
With a broken leg it was a hellish run and Celeste understood that she would get caught faster than she would make a sound, so she ran towards the closest rock.. Or a cave.
A giant growled at her but still ran after her.. until she hovered under a primitive cave.. which was just a rock..
"Eek!" She whined while a big man A.K.A Giant came closer to a rock and tried to get a girl under it, scratching, grabbing it.. But Rock was hard and heavy so he yelled in anger from inability to throw it.
"Hey!" Celeste yelled at the giant "Calm down! I am poisonous!" but the giant didn't care.. He only harder tried to get her.
"UGH... BAD MAN! B-Bad giant!" Celeste screamed with annoyance.. And she noticed that the giant calmed down a bit.. But didn't give up on trying get her
"What? No one taught you manners! I am a girl! You piece of shit." Celeste angrily said, while still sitting in her cave.. But the giant finally threw a rock away and grabbed her to fulfil his craving.. Hunger..
He raised her to her and already wanted to throw her in his mouth but.. Smell.. Sweet.. Candy smell.. From a human.
"Huh?" Celeste wondered and giant dragged her to his nose to sniff her.
The kind of smell that calmed him back in white room.. where everywhere was blood.. and bodies
"What are you doing?" Celeste asked but the giant just hummed and continued to sniff her..
As soon as Celeste said so giant looked at her with shock
Good boy? He didn't do anything.. He just wanted to sniff that smell again.. And he is a good boy..
"Uhm... Alright let me go.." Celeste commanded giant but he tighten his grab and definitely didn't want to let her go
"If... Wait a minute..." Celeste got an idea.. "Can you put me on your shoulder? and i'll call you a good boy!" Celeste asked giant with genuine smile
Giant tilted his head with curiosity but after a while he agreed and put her on his shoulder
“Good boi!” Celeste exclaimed with happiness “Now can you go this way? I need to go home! I will give you some candies and meat!” Celeste told giant pointing back at a reversed direction they went with group
Giant understood that well and went straight where Celeste told him to.. back to a college.

‘Even though Elia threw me off the cliff.. And put me below all of her dreams and everything.. I might change her so that she will be my friend.. But how? If people don’t change..
Perhaps I have an idea.. She need to lose everything to become different
Elia is a popular girl but not so popular.. And this popularity became a drug to her.
Probably if I steal everything that she has she will return to me.. Actually return.. Unblock me, text me.. Real things.. Real actions.. Then we will be “friends”..
Mmm.. I think no, she will not understand why we even met, the lesson our relationship carried, it would be a panic change to cheat a system.. She will not fully change.. No.. I think I need to leave her so that she will change..
But since i don’t have tarot on my hands nor strength to do it now i’ll leave it for tomorrow..’
Elia and her group found a way to a college, and all of the trip time she had.. weird expression.. Like she did something but no one knows what was that thing
They came to a dorm and Elia.. wanting already go to bed and forget about this night said:
“Alrighty my folks! I hope you’ll have good dreams! I probably will do D&D session if y'all want! But for now i’ll go delete myself hehe… Um bye!”
“Okie, we will be there! good night.. I hope you’ll never have those weird ideas about forest at 3 am anymore” Max answered and went with Mia to campus
“I have a weird feeling right now..” Mia confessed it to Max “Like i’ll not meet Celeste tomorrow..”
“Mmm.. Yeah, me too.. Like she fell underground..” Max answered Mia while looking at the picture of Celeste.. Back at her birthday party with her friends “Like.. Where is she.. And why is Elia so weird about that all of a sudden? a few minutes ago she was there and BOOM…” Max suddenly stopped his monologue.. but shortly after ended it with “And she gone..”, In his voice you could hear a bit of sadness..
“Hey.. It doesn’t mean she is gone forever!” Mia tried to cheer up Max “I can’t see her right now since I am not living with her but we will see her tomorrow! Right? Max..”
“Yeah..” Max stopped near the boy's dorm and said “Okay.. Good night Mia.. Have good dreams..” And he made a salute
“Hah.. I hope those dreams will not be fat furries in diapers.. Hehe.. Joking.. Good night” Mia joked and said good bye, then she went to the girl's dorm to her room..
“Alrighty! We are here!” Celeste told the giant who got her back to college “Now go to that window right here! please.”
Giant listened her and came to… a wrong window
“Nope, not that.. Near it.. Open one!” Celeste calmly said to a giant and he moved to open window.. which led to Celeste’s room
Her roommate, Tina wasn’t there, so Celeste could keep giant for a bit longer and play with him if she wanted to.
After Celeste went to her room and turned around to giant
“Good boy! i’ll bring some sweets for your big ass.. Let me sec” And with that she went to a fridge and grabbed some meat, yogurt and sweets for big savior of hers
She went back to him and finally saw his appearance.. half of it..
The man had a little bit of scars, White.. Almost silvery hair and silver eyes full with curiosity and naiveness.
“You are cute!” Celeste complimented giant, while coming to a window where giant waited for her
Giant didn't expected that so he tilted his head in question way
He didn't know what love, nor friendship was.. He was made for war.. Not hugs and kisses.. But.. He liked that attention more than anything.
"Okie.. Open your mouth and get ready for sweets!" Celeste exclaimed, getting meat ready
Giant opened his mouth, getting ready for meat and Celeste threw a loan of pork in Giant’s mouth.
Giant gulped meat up and he looked relieved, probably because Celeste fulfilled his crave for food.. But he wanted more and Celeste promised more so the greedy giant opened his mouth for more food and sweets!
"Okie doki! Get ready for sweets!" Celeste exclaimed, throwing chocolate and gummy sweets on the giant's tongue.
Giant closed his mouth and actually chewed a bit to feel taste of sweets
"Good Boi!" Celeste proudly called the giant "Now I'll go to bed! Good night!" Celeste said good bye and giant licked her face as his goodbye
"Oh well.." Celeste answered to the giant's 'kiss' "But.. I anyways need to sanitize my wounds and wash myself soo.. won't mind.." Celeste looked at the giant who looked at Celeste with a loving stare.. Almost 'i don't want to go' stare.. But he knew he couldn't be here.. So Giant stood up and quietly said
"Bye! you can return tomorrow!" Celeste loudly told the giant and giant went to a forest..
How did no one notice the big human? Question is still open but it wasn't a big deal for Celeste...She washed herself and went to soft bed
She needed to visit the doctor tomorrow and meet Elia..
Celeste woke up at bright morning, getting ready for doctor
Tina, her dorm roommate slept on her bed on other side of room
'probably was partying all night.. and slept with men..' Celeste thought but she didn't cared about Tina
She went to a doctor and said that she fell on a rock and broke her leg. The doctor was shocked but anyways did everything that was needed.
"Oh well.. Perhaps she got lost in the forest! I know?" Elia told Max while eating in the cafeteria.. Soon there was studies and they needed to eat
"Probably YOU did something with Celeste?" Max asked with annoyed voice
"Mhh.. Nah, I don't know, I didn't do anything!" Elia justified herself.
"Aha.. We OF COURSE believe you." Mia said in sarcastic way"
"Celeste is not my monkey, she is responsible for herse-" Elia continued to justified herself but someone called Celeste
"OH MY GOD!! CELESTE!" Boy yelled
Celeste entered cafeteria.. and Elia's heart stopped.. from fear
someone screamed "my waifu!".. Someone "I missed you ! What's up?"
But Celeste didn't care about people.. She went straight to Elia and her friends while limping
"Oh my god.." Mia said.. Not believing her eyes "Celest?"
Celeste came to their table and with proud grin quietly told Elia:
"You did what? Piece of shit?" Elia turned towards Celeste with mad face
Celeste nodded slightly and repeated herself
