On a serious note though, the story is like... toxic masculinity yuppie culture taken to extremes. Having women play these truly grotesque men might actually add something.

Have there ever been actual on-the-lips kisses ever? I swear I remember seeing a show where they touched mouths.

the reason they dont touch lips is very simple and practical one: MAKEUP

they dont wear lipstick they wear a mix of makeup substance that smears very easily. their entire makeup routine is bizarre.

There are cases their lips have touched and those are accidental and the fans have noticed the smear, or the girls have talked about it in ochakais for the laughs, I know a few cases that has happened. seen it myself, talked by fans and the girls in question also talked about it.

there is not some big conspiracy behind it, if that’s what you imply. it’s performance like everything else.
