A small child with wings , dark black eyes , and black hair could be seen she was wearing a black hoodie and pants she was clearly and outsider she seemed panicked making heavy breathes and tears in her eyes she was small about the size of a 3 year and looked very young she carried this big brown bag with her and was looking around she also seemed to have claws

Jinx notices the child, taking a few steps closer to her and kneeling down to be on her level. “Hey kid, you okay?” she asks. She doesn’t really know how to act around a child, but she can’t help but be worried as she sees how clearly distressed the little girl is.

She looks up at you she seems to be very trusting of people “ there was a dimensional issue and now I can’t get home when I want I love to travel and explore dimensions but at the end of the day I still want to get home to my parents and now I’m separated from them and there’s looming threats and I don’t know where my other family is “

Her breathes were extremely heavy she seemed panicked

“Uhm…” she mumbles. Shit. How’s she supposed to help this kid? “Okay. Can you try to take some deep breaths? It’ll help you calm down,” she says. She presses her lips into a thin line— she has no idea what to do.

Jinx pulls her hood over her head, wandering the streets of Zaun. Every corner she turns has wanted posters with her face on them covering the walls, and she knows she can't be seen. But walking helps when things get bad, and she needs the space to clear her head as much as she can.

It's been getting bad again. The guilt about Silco's death, about Vi's imprisonment for seven years. As she walks, she barely notices the tears welling up in her eyes, falling down her face.

She continues walking aimlessly through the Undercity, making sure her face stays hidden. Anyone could possibly be an enemy now, anyone could be out to get her and lock her up in some Piltie jail. She thinks that's stupid, how no one even bothers to ask her perspective, her thoughts.

Just another example of Topside discrimination, she thinks. They're always out to villainize us no matter what we do.

Star hums happily as she walks across the rooftops. He always preferred being above it all and seeing everything rather than down where it was easier to be hurt. She looks down at one point to see a hooded figure.

It wasn't uncommon, it was Zaun after all, but this person felt different. So, Star did what you should never do. She jumps down to land in front of them.

"Hello!" he said cheerfully. There's a wide smile on his face.

Jinx freezes in her tracks, looking at the stranger. What’s the deal? she wonders. Most people don’t usually just strike up conversations with random people on the streets of Zaun. “…Hi?” she says. It sounds more like a question than anything.

She circles around her once. "You seem interesting." he stops in front of her.

"Different from the rest." He takes a step towards her. "I like it. Whatever it is."

He takes a dramatic step back and does a little spin on his heel. It's like she's got energy that can barely be contained.

She snorts. “I can’t tell if that’s a compliment or not. Who are you?” she asks him, staring into her eyes. She cant figure Star out.

"It's a compliment!" He steps closer again. "Name's Star. Who're you?" Whatever this game was it was fun. From what he could see of the strange person, she seemed to be around his age. Even better.

Jinx narrows her eyes at Star, as if trying to find a hidden ulterior motive. She wordlessly gestures to the wanted posters on a nearby wall.
