Sophie sat on the floor, looking up at the demon she had summoned, not afraid – not now, anyway. “Mmhm, that was me,” She did like to think of herself as a professional psychic, which explained why the summoning had worked. She thought she had bound the demon properly, too, which was why she wasn’t afraid. “I was going to ask for money,” she said, a hand going to her lips. “I’m kind of struggling, if my living situation is any indication–” She gestured toward the run-down apartment they were both in. “So, you know…. I’d at least like to be able to pay rent on a place that doesn’t have cockroaches.” She clasped her hands on her knees. “Please?”
Jane shouldn't have been surprised by humans anymore, but the sheer avarice of the one standing in front of her was something else. It was clear the woman had no idea just how dangerous the fire she was playing with was, or she was even stupider than Jane thought. "Money... is that it?" Jane took her time to look around the room, admitting that there were certainly some improvements that could be made. Jane stepped closer to the woman, but stayed within the bounds for now preferring to keep the woman's mistakes to herself for now. Jane eyed the woman hungrily, already planning the best ways to put her new toy to use. "Seems like you've worked very hard to keep me bound. Is that the deal you wish to make? Money in exchange?"
