Synopsis: When you come home incredibly overstimulated, there's no better person to calm you down better then the one and only matt murdock

Sighing deeply, you grab your keys out of your bag. The ringing only makes you feel worse as you open the door. You enter your apartment you share with matt, and drop your work bag on the floor. With a toss, you get rid of your coat.
You're in a bad mood. Everything's too much, tiny sounds sound amplified, your clothing feels like sandpaper on your skin and your hair keeps touching your face, and tucking it behind your ear just won't work. Tiny things grow bigger and it makes you want to bawl your eyes out.
Matt had a free day, and had waited all day to wrap his arms around you. Happily, he stands up as he hears you come inside. "hey darling"
You feel like you're overflowing, and can't get anything out other than mumbling "I'm sorry.... I'm sorry" as you walk past him, into the bedroom.
Stumped, Matt follows you. Did I do something wrong? He thinks to himself. "darling?" he asks as he watches you go through the closet.
You need to change. you need to get into comfortable clothing, because this blouse you're wearing feels like sandpaper, and the only thing you can think about is taking it off.
Your mind is racing, and you don't even notice matt walking up to you. He grabs your wrist. "Are you okay? Your heart is-" he stops abruptly as you pull away. You fasten your tempo and quickly grab a pair of sweats and a big t-shirt and rush your way into the bathroom, leaving matt alone in the bedroom.
You close the door behind you. Your hand hovers over the lock. You sigh. You don't want to lock him out entirely. As you start to change, your hair keeps falling onto your face and you feel more and more agitated. You let out an annoyed grunt.
With now only a shirt, your bra, and underwear on, you decide to give up and turn on the shower. A wave of tiredness falls onto you as take a step towards the warm water and sit down. You let your head fall onto your knees and close your eyes, waiting for the horrible feeling to go away.
After a minute or two, there's a soft knock at the door. "y/n?". After not receiving an answer, he opens the door. Without saying anything, he sits next to you. The grey t-shirt he's wearing turns dark, and you sigh deeply. "You wanna talk about it?"
You lift up your head. You rest it against the wall. "yeah..."
"What's on your mind, angel?"
"It all so much, matt. Everything was just too much. Not sleeping last night did not help, and when I arrived at work, that prick was working as well. I... I had to swallow so much, because, honestly, if I didn't, I'm pretty sure I'd be in jail right now. And... I yelled at my boss. My boss, matt. He's gonna fire me, and I'll be jobless and-"
"Hey, slow down... You're okay. He won't fire you after one slip-up. And besides, you're good. Your boyfriend is a lawyer."
A small smile appears on your face. He seems to relax a little as he notices his gentle voice has calmed you down.
Matt moves up, and turns the shower off, and sits back down next to you. You're both soaking wet. You place your head on his shoulder and you sigh. "thank you"
He wraps his arm around you. "Are you feeling better?"
"Aside from getting cold, yeah."
He stands up and puts his hand out for you. You take it and stand up. He picks up a towel. He starts drying you gently, still testing the limits. After you're relatively touch-dry, you two walk into the bedroom and change into comfortable stuff.
"You ok?" Matt says, as he notices your quietness. "Yeah... I guess. I'm exhausted."
He takes a step backward and signals for you to lay down. You take the hint, and lay down on your back.
Matt is practically an expert when it comes to sensory things. Dealing with his new ability, he found out ways to calm down overstimulatedness, as he has been a victim to it numerous times. He would make a cup of tea for himself, or place a weighted blanket on him. Since there was no weighted blanked for him to use right now, he figured he would be the next best thing.
He gently places himself on top of you, carefully putting his arms around you. At first, you're a little confused, but notices this really seems to calm you down. You sigh again deeply, as you place your hand on his head and weave your fingers into his hair and start caressing it, causing him to calm down as well. You close your eyes, and feel your body going from tense to relaxed.
You nuzzle your face into his neck. Your turn your head, and look at him. He looks back at you. "What?" He says softly to you with a smile.
Synopsis: Reader is a fellow vigilante and has been taking care of Hell's Kitchen as well as Matt. They've crossed paths before, but this time reader has to save Matt's ass but goes terribly against his moral code.

Daredevil, wearing his dark costume, is on patrol out on the streets at night. It seems to be going smoothly until he spots some suspicious activity down an alley. As he approaches, his senses tell him he's dealing with an organized crime situation. He quietly makes his way into the alley, approaching the group. He tries to listen in on what the criminals are doing. There are about three of them, and they're just loitering around. He's terribly out-numbered. All of a sudden, a man in a trench coat walks into their view. Matt walks up to the group and reaches for his weapon, as the criminals take theirs too.
The fight starts, and Matt's out-powered. As if God heard his prayer, you appear out of nowhere and take a good hit at the man in the trench coat. He falls down.
"What the hell?" He jumps back. "I didn't hear you. Can you give a guy some warning before you just appear behind him?" Getting mad, he takes a moment to calm down. "Where did you come from? What are you doing out here?"
"Same as you." You say shortly. You turn to the criminals. As you walk up to the man in the trench coat still on the floor, you grab one of your knifes. With ease, you manage to kill the man.
Looking at the man you just killed. "Hey, I have rules. I don't kill people. Now you on the other hand seem to not have any such qualms. You're a loose cannon."
"Fucking rules." You say under your breath as you move towards another criminal. You knock him down and put your knife against his throat.
He sees you point your knife at the criminal. "Hey. Stop. Don't kill him." He says with a stern voice.
You look up at him with an angry expression. You exhale and drop the criminal, smashing his head on the concrete floor.
"I said stop. Don't you care at all about the consequences of your actions?" He can tell he's hit a nerve, and he's trying not to be harsh, but he has to be stern. He can't have you running around like this.
"No. I don't." You say as you move towards the last criminal.
"What's wrong with you? You can't kill people. Killing people doesn't make you a superhero, it makes you a murderer. And it makes you just as bad as the scum out here tonight, just in a different way." He sounds upset.
"Fine. I'm the bad guy. Who gives a shit?" You knock the last criminal down and once again you hold my knife to his throat, ready to strike.
"This is not okay!" He gets closer and tries to take your knife away. "If you kill this man, then I'll have to be the one to stop you." he pulls the knife out of your grip, and holds it in his hand. "And I don't want to have to do that."
Your heart flutters lightly, but you snap back into your fighting-mindset. You wait a second, look at the criminal, then look at him and exhale deeply. You let go of the criminals head and you stand up.
Infuriated, He grabs you by your arm and gives you a firm shake, not letting go of the fact that you just took a human life. "What the hell is wrong with you? Do you not have a shred of humanity? Or compassion? This is sick, and I won't stand for it." You can hear the sincerity in his voice.
"Let me go." You pull your arm back as you turn around, moving away from him "Annoying prick" you say under your breath.
His anger is still there. "You have to learn to control yourself. You can't just start killing people. You're gonna end up in jail, or worse. Do you just think you're above the law? Are you some kind of psycho?"
You stand still for a second, looking at him from over your shoulder "Later, DareDevil." You start running and you disappear behind a corner.
He starts yelling out after you "Wait… Dammit!" Frustrated, He stands there for a few seconds, before sighing deeply and running off in a different direction. He speaks to himself. "That woman's insane. I can't believe I care."
Synopsis: when reader gets really hurt, she has no choice but to go someone who is not really her friend....

"Take your time. I am not going anywhere until I get the whole story. This Sunamo is someone I have had my eye on for a while. You are not the first to suffer at his hands. What did he do?"
"I was alone, and suddenly he and his men were just there. They were everywhere. they circled around me and I had no where to go." you exhale deeply "before I knew it, they got me. They grabbed my hair and kicked me when I was down. They cut me.. They got me in the places they knew it would hurt most."
His face softens into a sympathetic expression as you describe. He looks down at the ground before continuing "You did not deserve this. I am sorry. You did not deserve this. What happened afterwards?"
"I passed out. When I woke up, they were gone. So was my sword. I was far from home... and I knew you lived out here."
He lets out a slow breath "This was far worse than I expected. What about Sunamo himself? Why did he do this? What did he want?" His eyes fill with concern.
"Who knows what that sadistic fuck wants? For all I know it could be just to see me suffer."
"Tell me what you were doing when he found you. This could be of importance. And believe me. Sunamo is a monster. But he is a calculated monster with an intellect that is matched by none I have encountered. So this was intentional and he wanted something from you."
"I was alone at the old harbour."
A look of horror crosses his face "… That monster did this to you just because you were alone? Nothing else? No motive whatsoever?"
"I don't know, it's not like he told me" You snap at him.
"I know this may be a shock to you y/n. But your enemy is willing to put a hold on his hate for you to help you. We can put our rivalry away temporarily and focus on this matter at hand. All I ask is for you to tell me who did this to you, so that I may ensure this does not happen to you or anyone I may care for again."
"...sorry."
You can hear his teeth grinding behind a sigh. He steps back, shaking his head. It is a miracle you survived. "I hate him. That monster needs to pay for what he did to you. I swear it, y/n. I will see him suffer for this."
"You don't need to do anything Killian. I will handle this on my own"
"What if he kills you next time? You were so badly injured from a surprise assault that he may just decide to finish it."
"If that means the last thing I do is running my blade through his chest, then so be it."
"You have a second chance at life. Why are you willing to give it up?"
"Why do you care?"
He looks at you in the eyes "You are an enemy. True. But nobody deserves to go through what you just did. You are strong y/n, but you are in no shape to face that monster. You should rest and recover. If you need anything, anything at all, to help you with that, I will get it for you. In the meantime I will keep my eyes on that Sunamo. He is no longer just some problem, some obstacle on the seas. He is the new greatest terror of the seas because of what he just did."
"Don't go at him alone. at least let me help. This is my fight. Let me fight it"
He thinks for a moment "… Fine. But we do it my way, and when I give an order, you follow. This means I won't spare that bastard for your personal vendetta. Do you agree?"
"You know I can't do it your way."
The look of horror returns to his face. You're still so stubborn. This man just about killed you today and you aren't willing to put your pride aside to do this the right way? He stare at you in shock as his eyes fill with anger. He speaks in his most serious voice "Do you want to see him killed or not?"
"I do. your way won't do the trick. Trust me."
He stares you down and takes a deep breath "Very well. I will play by your rules. We will do this your way. But mark my words. This is going to be messy. And I will not be happy about it."
"Stop being a dick. you're the one that so eager to help." You snap at him again. All your defence mechanisms are down, and you feel this is the only way you can still defend yourself.
He sigs. "Fine. You want to be rude to the man who is willing to throw away all his principles and ideals to help you? So be it. You're too stubborn to be reasoned with anyway. Take care of yourself, y/n. He starts to leave, but pauses as he nears the door "And… good luck."
"Wait.'
He turns, looking at you with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm sorry." You say through gritted teeth.
You exhale. You don't want to say it, but you need him. you're just too stubborn to ask him for help.
His eyes study your face. He finally looks away and sighs. "… Alright. I forgive you. I am willing to help you. Now tell me how you want to get back at this Sunamo."

They got you good. Your face is bloody, and you're covered in bruises. You're a long way from home, and won't make it back in one piece, so you have only one choice.
You new his house wasn't far from where you were, so you gathered yourself and went.
You stand in his doorway, bloody and beaten up. Your knees are weak and you're on the verge of collapsing right then and there
"I'm sorry. I didn't know where else to go" You say, weakly.
His eyes instantly show concern. While you are definitely not his friend, he's not a complete monster.
"Come inside"
You try to get over to a chair, but your legs are unstable and it causes you to stumble. He lifts you to the chair as gently as possible, and leans you back. He takes a moment to study the bruises.
"You are beaten pretty badly. Who did this to you?"
Your breathing is heavy. Blood drips out of your mouth on the floor. there's a huge cut on your face, and blood leaks from it. You exhale, not giving him a response. You don't want to open up.
He gives you a stern, but concerned look, waiting for you to speak. It's breaking his heart to see you so roughed up. If this were any of his men in this state, he would be furious.
"You got any antiseptic?" you say, with a cold tone in your voice. Anything to break the silence.
He gets to work quickly, cleaning the injuries and getting the necessary supplies for stitching it up. He takes a deep breath and asks the dreaded question
"Who did this to you, y/n?"
You wince in pain as he touches the cloth to your open wound "It's none of your concern."
He shakes his head. "Your pride is going to get you killed. I have never seen an enemy left in such a state. You can hardly walk. Tell me. Who did this."
You lean your head against the wall, closing your eyes. You let out a groan, feeling discomfort because of your wounds.
"No offence y/n, but you truly are stubborn. I'll ask again. Who did this to you?"
"Let it go Killian."
"No. This could be vital information. The person who nearly killed you could attack you again, or attack me and my men. Or we could have some common ground on this matter. Please just tell me who it was."
"It's nothing!" you yell in frustration as you stand up with trouble. "Thank you for the care. I'm going now." You stand up, regretting your decision of coming here in the first place.
He stands in front of the door and sighs, shaking his head "I can't let you leave in this condition, y/n. You are practically helpless."
"Let me leave." You try to push him aside, but you have no strength left, and it causes you to have to take a step sideways, leaning into the wall with your hands.
"You cannot leave. You are in no condition to move. If whoever attacked you finds you leaving this state, for all I know they would just finish you off. Do not be so stubborn."
"Why are you acting like this? As if you care about what happens to me."
"You may not believe me y/n, but I do care. You have caused me a great deal of grief and rage, but seeing the state you are in right now fills me with empathy. So I'm not asking you again. Who did this to you?"
"It's nothing of your concern Killian"
"I am telling you, it is my concern." He takes a deep breath "Whoever did this to you, they are not good. I am willing to set our little rivalry aside to make sure this person doesn't cause any further trouble. I am only telling you this once, y/n. Who did this to you?"
"shut up." you say, softly.
He rolls his eyes. "What a surprise, the proud, stubborn woman finally breaks." he steps closer and towers over you, looking you dead in the eyes "Who. Did. This. To. You!"
"SHUT. UP!" You yell at him, your voice shaking. Your eyes tear up a little bit. You take a deep breath and put your hands at the wall, holding yourself up.
He notices how much this is obviously hurting you. You are on the verge of tears and it takes all your strength to keep from collapsing. It secretly pains him to see you in such a state. He sighs and looks at you. He takes a step closer and places a hand on your shoulder. He speaks in a softer tone

His eyes show shock and his jaw drops at such a name. Sunamo is a sadistic monster who knows no mercy. He lets out a slow exhale. For the first time in all his time knowing her, you are showing slight trust in him. This is certainly a breakthrough.
"What did they do to you?"
You look at your shoes with a puzzled look on your face, looking for words.
"Take your time. I am not going anywhere until I get the whole story. This Sunamo is someone I have had my eye on for a while. You are not the first to suffer at his hands. What did he do?"

You are sitting in a tavern. It's late. You felt lonely, and since you didn't have a person to solve this problem with, you decided to use your only friend available. Alcohol.
He's sitting in a corner of a bar, with his crew. He's had a few ales, but is acceptably sober. He notices a person with y/h/c hair sitting at the bar, all by themself. He walks over to you, and from this angle, he can tell you've had one too many.
"Hello darling." He says, in a flirtatious way, trying to asses your state.
"Hello sir." your words are slurred. You look to the man who appeared next to you, not having a clue who he is.
"Are you alright, my lady?" He asks, his brow slightly raised, his voice deep and gentle. he can tell by the way you're staring at him, and your speech, that you've had too much to drink, but he's a gentleman, and you've drawn his attention with your beauty. He takes the opportunity to lean in closer to see the color of your eyes.
"I'm fiiiine"
"You are anything but, darling, let me escort you home"
"I do not," you hiccup, "need escorting home." you switch up the way you sit, showing him that you are fine, but the act does not last long.
"My, my, you're a feisty one, aren't you?" he says, letting out a chuckle. He takes a moment to observe you, a curious look on his face. You are quite the sight, that's for sure. He leans in a bit close to you, looking deep into your eyes. "The only thing you need to do, is trust me." he has a devilish smile on his face, and then he tries to take your hand.
You pull your hand back. "I do not need anything from you."
"Are you quite sure, my fair lady?" He says, his voice sweet, yet with a small edge of authority. "My offer is still open, if it is of your desire", He says in a seductive tone - one that would have a lesser person weak in the knees, so to speak, but you are much braver than the usual ladies he pursues.
"Leaaaveee" You push your hand out, in an attempt to push him away. You miss completely causing you to fall.
"Hm," He grunts as he catches you before you hit the ground. "That was most unladylike", He says teasingly, but with an air of seriousness. He lifts you up and holds you steady under the arms, letting you rest against his chest and begins moving towards the exit, assuming that his gentlemanly gesture had changed your mind. "We would not want to make a scene in this fine establishment, would we, my lady?"
You mumble something, but he can't make much out of it.
He notice how your breath is heavy, and the blush on your cheeks is rather intense. He gets curious. With a swift move, he puts you back on the stool you were sitting on. "May I ask what a beautiful lady like yourself is doing in a place like this, and all alone, at that?" He asks in a gentle voice, but his gaze is intense, and the slight edge in it makes it seem like he wants to know the genuine truth. It is almost as if he's a detective who has to figure someone out.
"That is-" Suddenly, you become aware of your surroundings. you notice people glancing at you and smile or snicker once they notice your current state. "I need to get out of here."
"As you wish, my lady", His voice is deep and smooth. "I'll take you away from this place. But, please, tell me, what's your name, lovely one?" he asks, taking an opportunity to move closer to you, as he wants to get his hands on your waist. You can feel the heat of his body as he stands this close, and it would be very hard for a woman not to be intrigued by such proximity.
"Y/N." you say shortly, trying to put an end to the conversation.
"y/n. A pretty name for a pretty damsel. Killian. Killian Jones." He says, as he lays his hand on his chest. "Is there somewhere you'd like to go that is more quiet?"
"I want to go home. Ssso tired."
"Then we shall", He says in a gentle voice, with a small smile. "I'll escort you home, my dear." He starts taking you to the door, and then, with some effort, he hails a carriage. He opens the door for you so that you can get in first.
"Please don't do anything bad to me. I am in no state to defend myself" you say, as you hiccup for the 1000th time.
"You will be perfectly safe", he says, a genuine, reassuring smile coming on his face as he enters the carriage with you. "I will be your escort and your protector through the night, and the nights to come…"

She had no clue what was about to come upon her. Who she was about to meet. It was late in the evening. Seraphina was sitting in a bar, alone.
'Hello darling.'
Sera looks up. There's a man standing next to her table. Without asking, he sits down at the head of the table.
'And you are?' Sera asks.
He raises an eyebrow and is amused by your inquiry, a warm smile growing on his handsome face.
'Why, I'm Captain Killian Jones darling, also known as Hook.'
'And you are?' he leans in and looks into her eyes.
'Hook. Interesting name. My name... Is not important. For now.'
'Hmm…' he raises an eyebrow once more, taking note of this strange woman who has chosen not to introduce herself.
'Not important… ' he says in a contemplative tone, 'I have stumbled upon a mystery. I'm quite good at solving mysteries, you know.' he says with a smirk.
'I'd like to see you try' Seraphina says. Hell, why not, she thought to herself. She felt like having some fun.
He smirks and leans on the bar, his tone flirtatious as it always is.
'Oh, is that a challenge I hear darling?'
He tilts his head and looks at her with a sly grin.
'Hmm…' he muses, 'a woman who wants to test me… ' he purrs and his eyes look like they are assessing her up and down.
'What are the stakes?'
'You name them.' She says, in a teasing tone, daring him to bite.
His eyebrows raise a little higher this time, his smile growing bigger and even more smug.
'Hmm… how about a kiss?'
'You know what? I'm bored. Yes. You'll get a kiss as soon as you guess my name' She says.
He nods his head, his smile growing wide as he leans in and looks deep into her eyes.
'It's a deal, darlin'. You have yourself a challenge.'
It's clear he's confident in his ability to complete this task, although he's also intrigued by the mysterious woman in front of him.
'Let the games begin…'
He grins from ear to ear as his eyes sparkle with confidence and his eyebrows raise.
'And may the best pirate… win.' he says with a self-assured smirk that shows he's more than ready to play the game.
Killian takes a sip of his drink and starts to observe her closely, carefully considering all of her features and mannerisms as he begins to think of who this mysterious woman could be.
'Hmmm…'
He leans forward slowly with a smirk on his face, his eyes fixed on hers as he looks into her eyes, looking like he's carefully considering what name might suit her. He's clearly starting to get into the game now, and his eyes have the playful, teasing look about them that's so characteristic of him.
'How about…' he says playfully, 'Annabel?'
'Wrong.'
He pulls back a little, running a hand through his hair as he thinks for another few moments. After a little time, he leans forward slowly once more, and looks into her eyes with a coy smile once more.
'Well then how about… Charlotte?' he asks teasingly with a wink as he once again tries to narrow down her name, his eyes gazing into hers as if he's trying to uncover her secret to get to it.
'Such basic names..' She teases, 'wrong again.'
Killian raises an eyebrow, his playful face turning slightly more serious as he considers the matter at hand.
'Basic names?' he asks in a joking tone while he moves his face a little closer to hers as he raises the other eyebrow.
'Give me something less basic.' She says with a teasing tone while his eyes look her up and down with a playful but calculating gaze.
'Something… that'll suit you. ' he purrs as he leans even closer, clearly enjoying the game and wanting to continue teasing her.
'I'll give you a hint. the name starts with S, and has 9 letters'
Killian leans back in his seat in mock frustration, but a warm smile also crosses his face.
'Nine letters… S…' he hums to himself, clearly running through the names and combinations of words in his head while he looks at her thoughtfully and a playful, yet calculating look crosses his face.
'How about… Seraphina?' he says with a smile as he watches her, waiting to see if he got the name right this time. The way he says her name gives her goosebumps.
'Well played. You got it.' Seraphina says, impressed with how quickly he got her name.
'Well, my dear Seraphina, consider the game won.' he says with a flirtatious grin and wiggles his elbows.
'Now… about that kiss…' he says with a teasing wink, moving forward and gently placing a hand on her cheek.
'Call me Sera, and yes. You've earned it.' She says, seductively.
'Sera it is darling…' he says with a playful smile as he leans closer, placing the other hand behind her neck while he tilts his head a little to the left as he once again moves closer for what promises to be an intense kiss. His breath hits her lips as they get closer and the passion in his eyes is easy to see.
'Sera…' he whispers as the two of them share a slow and sweet, yet passionate kiss that takes their breath away.
