“Murder me then. Murder my heart. Murder my soul. Murder what’s left of love in me. I have been waiting for you. It’s time for you to eat me alive.”

“it’s a 6k slowburn” i say
“oh only six thousand words?” says some poor ignorant soul, “that’s not that lo-”
“no, six thousand years,” i say, staring off into the distance. “they’ve been pining for six thousand fucking years.”
because in the end, between a kiss and cannibalism, there isn’t much difference. kiss me hard until you consume me, and i’ll live within you forever

Sing me a song of a lass that is gone…

“Your eyes. Your eyes. Eyes with teeth. Terrible as obsidian. The days to come in those eyes, the days gone by. And beneath that fierceness, something ancient and tender as rain.”

Euripides, Bakkhai (tr. Gibbons)
At sundown, we will feast upon our hearts, thrown under the cover of night. I will sing that lustful song, delivered to you in my sighs. And you will drink upon my lips as if my breath were wine. And tomorrow my love, tomorrow - we will grow deaf, dumb and blind.

How ZimmTek Won His Sword and Forged His Helmet ;; Irken Mythology
In the beginning, ZimmTek was without his sword or helmet. On hunts with his people, he took the form of an Irken and used their crafted weapons. However, he was prone to shattering their helmets and breaking their swords in the heat of battle. He thought his people the finest weapon-smiths in the universe, but even they could not create something fit for a god.
He tried to create many weapons himself, out of stone and wood and the bones of the creatures that lurked in the outer wastes of Threm, but all could not stay whole underneath his touch.
Frustrated, he sought out wise Takshi. “I need help!” He held up another shattered sword and sighed. “Nothing I or my tribe can make is WORKING.”
Takshi took the shards and held them thoughtfully, smiling in amusement. “You’re not exactly known for subtlety in battle. You’re too strong for these materials.”
“Yeah, I know! What are some stronger materials that I CAN use? I’ve tried just about everything.”
Takshi stared long and hard at the broken weapon, her Sight glowing in her eyes. She was a warrior, but she carried no weapons. She leapt into battle using only her claws and teeth. However, she knew that if a weapon were to be made that would best suit her brother, it would have to come from the place where his essence was made: the stars.
