My Family

I love my family. I know that is a fairly generic term that is often thrown around. Seriously though the Talaiver family is amazing. I just love that we may not be together all the time or have the traditional modalities of most families, yet we still connect with each other using whatever we can. Google Hangout, Twitter, and even just email helps us all stay connected. Note to those outside the family, once you get CCed into something, you are in a circle of trust. For example, even setting up this blog, we have a chain of emails and tweets going back and forth about what it should look like and operate as. Then we started planning subdomains for each person. The web creation doesn't stop with personal blogs either, even for stuff like Thanksgiving we are setting up a cloaked site to help plan the dinner menu. What other family would use web architecture to help plan a family holiday? That is why I love my family. I am wondering though if soon that will be how the next generation of the family unit operates.

Manuel's journey in writing

I was watching Fox News this morning and learned that Governor Huckabee has written a book for his grandchildren.  Joe and David worked on Manuel for the last two years about writing the book about Manuel's journey.  He started writing in October.  We may not go to the Publishers but it will be our story left for generation to read.

This is the day the Lord has made

Manuel is enjoying Reshma's song "Willl I even forget you?" in Malayalam "Naan ninnai marakkumo?"  I think he has played this the fiftieth time this morning.
