Hi, i’ve been sitting on this thought for a while now whilst trying to get myself around writing my fics whilst also balancing real life stuff. And I just don’t have the motivation and energy to continue anymore. Mentally not in a good place at the moment, life has been dragging me hard.

I finally decided to stop writing altogether. I am currently signed under @omegaharryfest @onceuponatimeficfest & @1daboficfest which honestly, I was incredibly excited when I signed up earlier this year. These are my favourite tropes, themes and things to write. They give me so much pleasure and happiness, but I unfortunately have to prioritise myself at the moment. I was halfway through those fics, they were fun to work on but right now, i’m just not on it mentally. Maybe one day i’ll come back to it and maybe continue writing them.

I just want to thank the fests I signed up for for letting me be part of such an amazing thing and it saddened me a great deal to be leaving but I have to. I apologise for doing it this way. To the betas that were so amazing and was working with me on the fest fics, @neondiamond & @fateleedstolove you guys are brilliant. I adore the work you do on making my written work bearable. I cannot thank you enough for all that you did on my fic. I am sorry if I am wasting the time you put on the ficfeast works that I unfortunately won’t be able to finish. I wish you all the best.

— this is getting too long, I normally do not tell people things I do but I think a goodbye is a necessary. Although I haven’t been in the writing community for so long yet everyone has been very supportive, and I cannot thank you all enough for it.

I love and live for that you have the same amount of animosity and anger towards Lou T as I do, she’s one of the most frustrating people I’ve never met and don’t want to🤣 She kept her job because she was chummy with their management I’m sure of it, sucking up and using people for jobs is Hollywood I imagine. Also another reason to make you dislike her, on her tik tok she’s literally trying to push lux’s account she keeps making for her..like actively trying to get her daughter get followers who is like 11. Imagine not wanting to protect your child from social media as long as possible and actually encouraging them to be an influencer, at 11. Fucking incredible .

Stopppp! Is she really? I saw Lux had an account the other day, but OH MY GOD what is wrong with that woman? She's honestly just... not my favorite.

Confusion first, frustration, etc..

It would be a similar (but not the same) shock as a boy waking up as a girl. If you are a girl, or have ever experienced life as one you know that it's a very particular and different experience than what it's like to be a boy. I'm not a boy, but I'm no idiot.

How people treat you, how they look/interact with you, the tones they use when speaking with you, the amount of trust they give you immediately, body language, etc.. are all things that the alpha may notice a change immediately after being transported.

It also depends on what "being an alpha" means to your character, how much of their values and self-concept is tied to their dynamic. If it is strongly held, it would probably be a much harder adjustment.

Then of course you've got the whole no-scents thing, no nesting, no purring, none of the cultural aspects of omegaverse, etc..

It will be easier for them to adjust if they are a male alpha. If they are a female alpha, especially if they don't look/come off as hard/dark/strong/sharp it will be much much more difficult. And it's always the little things that will be hard for the longest time.

I was tagged by my new friend @greenblueish​ to share what I’ve written! I’ve only just started writing a new fic recently, soooo this will definitely be edited sooner or later. But anyway!

Here’s a snippet from my fic based off of Percy Jackson/Trials of Apollo, for an upcoming fic fest ;) maybe idk i have this bad habit where i write something halfway get bored and ditch it It’s god!Harry, human!Louis.

He steels himself together, takes a deep breath, and knocks on the door.

He hears distracted movement within the apartment; then footsteps, coming closer and closer.

The door swings open. Harry’s breath catches.

And oh.

Louis Tomlinson is standing there, right in front of him.

(Golden skin, blue eyes. It’s a sight twelve years in the making.)

They don’t say anything. They simply stare at each other, the expressions on their faces betraying nothing. It stays that way for a few minutes, though to the god, it could have been for an eternity.

Harry decides to break the silence.

“Hi,” he says.

Louis punches him square in the jaw.

Harry crumples to the floor like a wet noodle.

And the last line I wrote was:

Harry wakes up inside of a dumpster.

Welcome to the Writer’s Corner Café !

Like all good things this started as something, I was looking for- a place to chat with other writers while they were writing and gain encouragement, inspiration or have a group of people who knew what word I meant when I couldn’t think of it. As we all know as fandom writers if we want something we have to create it. I brought the idea to Beca and together we formed this little discord server. Beca came up with the name and while she thought it was lame, I loved the idea of a cozy cafe where we could all meet up and start a community.

Our primary goal for this space is to keep it safe, loving and positive. While this is a One Direction fandom group, we aren’t exclusively a Larry writing group. We will accept talks of any and all pairings within the fandom. There aren’t any topics, tropes, or plot lines that are banned from this server. We ask that you use trigger warnings before sharing an idea, a prompt or anything like that. If you are uncomfortable with a topic or need help navigating an interaction you can message Beca and I on discord, on here or our separate tumblrs. Just know that we aren’t professionals. To quote our pop-punk king, Louis, we are just like you. We’re all adults and I believe in our ability to create a welcoming and positive space.

And as we are older fans we also wanted to create a space for older writers who already write or are planning on starting to write fanfiction. So if you are +25 and are interested, please fill-up the Google Form so you can join our server.

Me trying to prove to people that Louis should sing She Used to Be Mine by Sara Bareilles because the song literally describes him so well because it’s about reflecting on how your younger self was so much more different and more innocent compared to how jaded your adult self has become. It’s about apologizing to your younger self and wishing things turned out differently because you deserve better. It’s about taking life head-on and despite being abused by people who don’t love you and only see you for one thing, you can rise to the challenges and go through another day.
