This was my first attempt at realism in needle felting, and I think it went pretty well!

We lost our very loved cat last year, and I made this as a memorial piece. It really helped me through the grief, and now she sits by my workstation, so I can look at her always.

I thought about making her a body as well, but she became much bigger than expected because she had to fit the size of the glass eyes. One day I will add some whiskers 🧡

This is Marigold, she's my little mandrake familiar in my game of Apothecaria, where you play as a village witch healing the unfortunate villagers.

Marigold is small with a big personality, and if felt like a nice touch to have her sitting on my desk while I played the game
