That’s good. [Smiles gently as he reaches up and rubs Bepo’s nose] If anyone treats you poorly, be sure to let me know. I hate to see your sensitivity being taken advantage of.

[ He closes his eyes, enjoying Captain's pampering. Nodding without thinking of much else, he says ] Aye aye~ As long as Captain sleeps enough and takes care of your own health, there won't be any worry~
[ The laughter was very disconcerting. But apparently Doflamingo lured the strange creatures in his crew by offering food- And apparently he’d evolved from a floor rug to one of the toys from Dressrosa. ] Why are you chasing after meee?! [ He is completely unprepared for this encounter ] Don’t you have important matters to do-?! [ He yells as he rounds a sharp corner. ]
This would no doubt be an excellent addition into his collection of pets. Not only that, he could show it off at his next dinner party (which usually starts after dinner and lasts for a week but no one’s really still conscious enough to count the number of days that have passed).
"We’re just going to have a little fun! You could come and make some friends!" He hasn’t laughed like this in days. "What do you think I have servants for?"
I don't think your definition of 'fun' would be normal!! And unless 'friends' excludes you I'll pass!!! [ He slides onto a nearby beach//shore and paddles where hopefully Doflamingo won't be able to touch him ( for a while ). Hopefully, there wouldn't be any sea monsters out there lurking either- ]
[ He’s surprised she agreed. ] Being a captain sure seems difficult. So what are you good at? [ He asks, having never heard too much about her other than her amazing eating abilities. ]
… Difficult, I guess. It’s a lot of work, but I think you can probably tell. [She pauses again, scratching her cheek idly as she figures out an answer.] A lot of things, I guess. [Though she’s sure many would disagree.] I’m good at controlling a crew! And I’m good with my powers, too.

[ He supposes he understands. He thinks she’d still probably be considered relatively ‘nice’ though ( out of most people he’d met so far ). In response to her sheepish answer, he muses: ] Maybe it’s a captain’s pride?
[Pride … that could have been it. She certainly had a lot of pride—in herself, in her crew, in her abilities. It made decent sense, so she nodded and went along with the idea.] I think so, probably. Maybe I’ll get better about it. I dunno.

[ He takes a sniff, smelling for fishes or the saltiness of the sea. Dashing through the marketplace, he can’t avoid knocking into some of the stalls. He is a very ( large ) furry bear after all. He even manages to grab some fresh fish on sale as he passes by, hearing Doflamingo causing more chaos behind him. They really smelled and tasted delicious. ] mnnmfff!!! mfmfmfmmmmffmf?? [ He attempts to argue: “Away~!!! What do you mean ‘master’?!” ]
It was hilarious. The bear was desperate enough to run away from him of all people but apparently not so much that it was willing to grab some fish to eat along the way. “If you wanted some food, I have plenty to feed you back at home!” he said, trying to entice it. The humor of the situation was distracting him for a moment before he frowned and yelled accusingly, “Toys don’t need to eat!”

[ He can’t help a shiver at her words, remembering her intentions from before. Turning his thoughts over her words, he ponders- ] Are you always interested in (male) pirate captains? Though I can understand why-
[ He wonders if he should answer her truthfully, or wait til after the pampering she’d promised just as a safety measure(?). He also felt rather shy sharing personal information.. Those thoughts were comforting to reminiscence about though.. ]
She summoned her servants and ordered them to fill a bucket with warm water -as well as to bring the best shampoo she had. She quickly turned to the bear when she heard him ask about ‘male captains’ and her ‘interest in them. "Don’t mistake my interest for romance." She tugged at his jumpsuit, gesturing it would need to be removed soon. "I am…interested in what type of man your captain is." She confessed, thinking back to her earlier conversation with Law. She absent-mindedly clung to the fabric of Bepo’s jumpsuit as she got lost in thought. “I want to know if he can be trusted, and I wouldn’t mind knowing a bit about his past history, if I’m not being too forward.”
[ It feels nice to be pampered, he concludes, in anticipation for a good warm bath. Handing over his jumpsuit ( keeping a close eye on it just in case ), he lays down on the cool marble floor comfortably and considers what she has said. ]
Captain doesn't want to shave my fur... [ He decides to go with, looking at Hancock. ] And he saved Strawhat... ... Ahh trust is too complicated to explain! But he takes care of us! [ He continues lazing on the ground, wondering if any pirate could come up with a simple answer about a pirate's trust. Since Hancock could potentially be an ally//asset, he tries to be as neutral as possible. He supposes since she may also be a potential enemy, he doesn't want to reveal too much either. ] Captain would be a better person to ask about this stuff.. Past histories are tiring to talk about.. [ He nods to himself, focusing on the bath to come. ]
[ He thinks of all the unfortunate occurrences he's had recently ( though there'd been some more fortunate ones ). ] Ayeeeee~ [ He answers, unsure. But those thoughts are quickly pushed aside, replaced by happiness at the thought that he'd been asked after. More convincingly, he adds: ] Nothing too bad~ Have people been treating Captain well? [ He asks with a large contented grin. ]
Sure… [ He says insincerely. ] It’s you Marines who don’t know how to clean up our mess- especially since it’s your job to [ He continues pondering out loud, deflecting Smoker’s accusations and blame from he pirates. At the topic of food and grilling though, he suddenly remembers terrible notions of cannibalism and everyone wanting to eat polar bear meat, and shudders. But he continues, bantering : ] Stop calling Captain a shitty brat! I don’t need more explanations because I know he’s not ‘shitty’! Also how do you know have you stolen his wallet gasp!
I call him how I see him and he’s a brat, through and through. I know because he showed me and just for the record I didn’t ask for him to show me.
…Where is that brat anyway. Does he care about his bear at all?

Are you looking for Captain? [ He frowns, wondering if the marines are possibly looking for trouble. ] Of course he cares! Why'd you expect him to show up just by me being here though? [ He huffs, not really liking the idea that Smoker might be looking down on him. ]
[ His mouth opens in wonder, forming a kind of open mouthed smile. Ignoring the obnoxious comment ] Really? [ Perhaps she has changed her mind about shaving him, he thinks. ] A brush sounds good.. [ He closes his eyes in bliss as he thinks of the comfort of having his fur smoothed out. He leans forward a little more at the idea of a bath. ] Oohhh [ Maybe she isn’t so terrible afterall.. ] As long as you really won’t cook me or shave my fur? [ She’d asked rather nicely(?) ]
"I shall not harm you. Only a brush and a wash!"
She tugged at the bear’s jumpsuit-cladded arm. “Come come, we can even talk about your Captain during it.” She promised, knowing the bear loved to talk about his Captain and truth be told, Hancock was curious about the bear’s relationship with Trafalgar Law. Bepo seemed very overprotective and fond of him. "Have you known your captain since you were little?" She asked as she led him away to the deathshavingcooking bath designated area.

He did not hesitate to violently push aside any person or thing in his way and if anybody did call out his name, he didn’t care. This walking bear was far too interesting to ignore and he wasn’t going to let it escape so easily. “Where are you going~? Don’t you know it’s rude to run away from your master? Fuffuffuffuffuffu!”

[Nice … she isn’t sure that she’d call herself nice, but Bonney wasn’t about to go into detail explaining to him why an adjective like that might not have been the best for her.] I wouldn’t say nice—just not mean all the time. You know.
… [She shrugs at the question, almost … sheepish in her answer.] I dunno. I just don’t. I’m not good at apologizing. If I feel bad enough I try to make it up to them sometimes.

[ He can’t really articulate an answer, and feels slightly more depressed because of that. But he’s sure he’s not sorry about being able to help navigate. After a pause of finding no meaningful answer, he sounds out ] Uhhh…
If there’s nothing to apologize for then don’t do it! [She reaches out, patting his arm through the sleeve of his jumpsuit in a small attempt at reassurance.] I usually don’t say sorry even if there is something to apologize for, actually—but okay. I’m sure you’re a great navigator! [Even if I can’t stand your captain half the time, she adds to herself, though such a thought goes unvoiced.]

Trying to use the water as a distraction, he swims away from the shichibukai and hops onto the marble floor at the other end of the pool. He then dashes as far away as possible. ]
As he watched the bear run away, it took him a moment to realize that not only did it ignore him again, it was now trying to escape. A grin slowly spread itself across his face. He hasn’t played tag in a while. Cackling loudly, he began his pursuit and chased after it.

But you do need a good brush down…Let me brush it! I’ll get rid of all the knots!

[ He takes another step back. ] AIEEEEEE NOOOO Captain told me not to shave and I’d be naked without my furrrrr!!! [ He waves his paws in front of him, shaking the image of being furless out of his mind. ]
His fur is too little and I think I can convince your Captain otherwise.
[ He slowly steps away. ] I'll let you do that then Ma'm- [ He says so casually without conviction, and proceeds far far away from her since she seems to have gotten a new goal(?) ]
