-Ambrose is driving because he’s the only one who can drive (Adrian has a car he just hasn’t gotten his license yet)

-Preston and Adrian would have sat together but Preston called shotgun for the passenger seat

-Adrian wanted to sit behind them but no one else wanted to sit next to him

-Nvm thats mean

-He saw Portia watching dance moms and wanted to watch it too :)

-Also Ambrose drives a mom car and has one of those American flag bumper stickers

Were there any songs or lines you wish you could have kept in Adamandi or TAOPP that you couldn’t due to time constraints? Or any songs/lines you really liked, but couldn’t keep within the shows due to the fact they wouldn’t really fit in the story?

For Adamandi, we were gonna write a song featuring Quincy and Vincent writing letters home! The show ended up focusing more on their in-university lives, but I miss getting to learn more about their familial contexts. For TAOPP, I don't feel necessarily attached to this song, but Louis's "When You're Small" used to be a song called "Never Let My Guard Down" (which would of course be reprised later to be about Jason.) - Elliot

We used to have a whole song in Adamandi called "Why Am I Here" where the students talked about why they... want the prize and there used to be a little sequence in the middle that I loved the way it sounded musically:

And also Ambrose and Vincent's lyrics are just. Full of references to their academic specialties I liked a lot. It was a research song!

For Princes, I liked this little Jason monologue that eventually turned into Talk About It With You!

It’s good Ambrose Bassford only exists in the liminal space of a 1930s musical, cause he’d 100% use axe body spray, wear grey sweatpants, get into arguments saying “I can’t be racist, my friend is Asian!”, have a Tesla, and try to start a podcast if it was the 2020s.
