Finally managed to doodle how I kinda picture Hobb dragons. Kinda delicate looking (even though they're not). Crest + "cheek fans" when flared will look like an all around mane...cause I can't figure out how to do it otherwise. In the books their eyes are often described as whirling when angered so I didn't draw a very solid formed pupil. Though it seems like Mercor mainly gets eye descriptions and his are black... Lastly gave them somewhat of a tube nose (like an albatross!) I had Relpda in mind while drawing which is why the middle one looks nice and calm.
